Highlighted Driver of the Night Program
A new program for the 2009 season will be our Highlighted Driver of the Night Program. The goal of this program help you promote your race team and to help us get people to come to the races.
The goal will be to have 7 or 8 highlighted drivers each regular race night leading up to the Jackson Nationals. See the attached Highlighted Driver Schedule. (This Schedule is obviously a tentative work in progress, and we will get this on the web-site as we make changes to it). So you’ll let us know if a particular date absolutely won’t work for you.
There are two key parts to this program:
The 1st one is that we are going to have a Driver Profile Insert into the program on the night you are highlighted.
The second is that we are going to give you $3 OFF Grandstand Admission Vouchers that are good for the night that you are highlighted.
A Little More Information on the Vouchers:
What we are hoping is that you can get these vouchers out to all of the people that you know: Your friends, neighbors, co-workers and sponsors, etc. Maybe have your crew help distribute your vouchers. Maybe have your sponsors give them to all of their employees and customers.
By working together hopefully you can build your race team and solidify your sponsors, by showing them a good time at the races and that you have lots of fans. By getting more people out to the track, this is better for everyone involved.
For fun and a little competition (and Money) we will be tracking how many people show up using your vouchers, and will post this on the web-site.
Then, on season Championship Night you will have a second chance to increase your fan count. We will give all drivers as many $3 off Vouchers as they want (Again each fan can only use one), so fans may have to choose which driver they want to support, because.
The Jackson Speedway will be putting up $1,000 to the drivers that bring in the most fans. I have not decided if we are going to do this as a winner take all deal or if we break it down a little. We also will add $500 to the Class that brings in the most vouchers on Season Championship Night.
The Driver that has the most vouchers (For their highlighted night and for Season Championship Night) used will be crowned the Track Grand Champion. For this award it does not matter the class or how well you finish, it matters how many fans you have.
Fans can only use one voucher per night. Students 6-12 can use them also and one can also be used on a family pack. So an adult can get in for $7, a Student (6-12) for $2, and a Family Pass for $22.
There is one other rule and this is that you absolutely can not pass out vouchers at the race track. Anyone caught violating this rule will be disqualified.
