FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On Friday night, June 26th, Kings Speedway will have on hand a fairly ordinary night at the races. West Coast sprinters, IMCA MOD’s and Stocks, Okie Bowl stockers, and Vintage race cars will fill the race cards for the evening. A special happening will occur that evening. We will be hosting Kearney Bowl Night at Kings Speedway. We are in search of any and all former drivers, car owners and crew members who competed in the Hardtop, Modified and Midget classes at the historic track located in West Fresno.
Those who competed should RSVP to Frank Dias in order to be added to the credential list and will be admitted at no charge. Race cars from the Kearney Bowl era will be on display and health permitting, fan favorite Al Pombo will be in attendance.

Can someone please clear this up for me. There was a Davey Pombo that ran super modifieds at San Jose Speedway, Madera and Altamont back in the 70s. He was the son of Al Pombo. What relation is the current Davey Pombo and Albert Pombo to the original Davey (maybe he is the one referred to earlier) and of course Al Pombo? Thanks.
