Rent a Ride Program Set For 2007

*Chico, CA (February 26)*...Veteran sprint car crew chief Rod Fauver is
geared up to open the 2007 season with his Fauver Race Ready Rentals
sprint car program. In his stable of cars, Fauver has a 410 sprint car,
360 sprint car and wingless spec sprints available to rent for a night
of racing. “This is something that I have thought about for a while
and
I was finally able to make it happen,” said Fauver.

The idea of this program enables a person thinking about getting into
open wheel racing a chance to race without spending a ton of money.
“Many guys just don't ever get the chance to even see if they have
the
talent to drive a sprint car because they are so expensive to buy,”
said
Fauver. “We offer a car ready to race, set-up properly and will give
professional help and advice throughout the night. I have a full team
in
place.” This program also will help those already racing but
struggling
to find the right set-ups and advice. “We hope to help racers who
already have a car and want a chance to drive something else with our
input,” said Fauver.

Another fan of this program is Jimmy Sills. The “professor” will be
able
to consult also if requested. For drivers with no credible open wheel
experience they will need to sign up first for the Jimmy Sills School
of
Open Wheel Racing in Marysville. “We need Jimmy's help to sign off on
a
driver with no experience before we put them out on a track with other
competitors,” said Fauver. “They need to show me and Jimmy that
they can
control a sprint car.” There are also open nights available at Twin
Cities Raceway Park in which the driver could rent the track.

The prices range from each class. The wingless spec sprint will cost
$1,000 a night. The 360 sprint car will cost $2,000 a night. The 410
sprint car will cost $3,000 a night. The price includes the car, crew,
gas, good used tires and everything else needed to race. The driver
will
need to buy their own pit pass, replace any parts damaged on the car
during the night of racing. A driver can also purchase new tires for
the
night of racing. They will also need to fill out a payout sheet from
the
track so they can receive any winnings from the night.

Rod Fauver has focused on sprint car racing for the last 25-years. He
has owned cars that have won numerous races. He has a Skagit track
championship, Northern Sprint Tour wins along with World of Outlaw and
All Star crew chief victories. Drivers he has worked with include Craig
Dollansky, Jonathan Allard, Keith Kauffman, Billy Boat and Shawna
Wilskey. Rod Fauver can be contacted at (530) 591 – 5428 for further
questions. His shop is located in Chico, CA. This program is available
but not limited to Chico's Silver Dollar Speedway on Friday nights,
selected 360 races at Chico and Marysville, and certain Golden State
King of California events.
