Looks like another huge car count this weekend at kville...probably 45-50 410's and 35-40 360's......for $12 bucks, I think I'll make it.....ok, How many IRA guys are gonna make the A-main?....I know there have been years when only one or two make it. I think this year it may be a little different..I think they will have 5-6....
Actually, with the state of 410 racing in the midwest, I would love to see the IRA "get in bed with Kville", maybe run there the Last Saturday of every month, May, June and July..

I think that is a GREAT idea & I'm sure if someone contacted both the IRA & Knoxville Raceway, it just might work out. I would be benificial to both, I feel & would keep the car count up. Maybe that way, K'ville can once again put up the sign, "The Sprint Car Capitol Of The World". I've been a bit worried about sprint racing continuing to be the primary type of racing there, since they changed that sign this year. As the saying goes, "Real race cars don't have fenders"!!

I think the IRA is happy with the schedule they have, and for most of their guys, Knoxville is a long haul. To do it once a month would be tough. I'd like to see more Iowa races though, that's for sure...
