Ok, I put off doing my schedule of races to try, or want to make it to.

Some are for the kids as you see but I am looking ot make sure i didn't miss any. Mostly within 2-3 hours of Cedar Rapids. Though IF I can get a good weekend off I'd go 4-5 hours.

Basically, If you see a gap for a Sprint Race let me know. Or if you would like to pool to a race let me know. Any given Knoxville night I have off too is considered.

July 4th, West Liberty Raceway, Sprint Invaders and open Late Models.

July 9th, Cedar County Raceway in Tipton. Sprint Invaders (I think)

Thanks, I always miss a few. I left the July 4th one out on purpose because we will have something else to do that day. This would be alot easier if Hawkeye downs was made into dirt again and had Sprint shows. oh well, that guy has moved on, wonder which track he works for now???

Al Freiden from Swisher IA was the long time promoter of the Hawkeye Downs until it was covered with asphalt. Al purchased the Farley Speedway when they announced the change, also promoting the West Liberty Raceway and Dubuque Speedway, with occasional specials on the Davenport half mile.

Al passed away in August of 2000 and NASCAR Cup engine builder Keith Simmons bought Farley and the contracts for Dubuque and West Liberty, still promoting them today.

Glad to see some Invader races. You should look at going to Lake ozark speedway at least once. Very nice track. ASCS show in June will be big.
