I know what the posted schedules say, but, my DirecTV menu does not list it for 5/2/09. Nor does the Versus listings for that date.
Anyone got the skinny on this deal?

Just a guess but it may be in the Motorsports Hour from 4 to 5 pm central. That's where the USAC shows usually air.

You are correct Phil. Saturday at 4 p.m. central time. We have a advance dvd and it looks great.

I have a dumb question. Why are the ASCS shows on Versus tape delayed for nearly a month before airing?
I get the channel through Cox Cable and every time I tune in they are showing re-runs. Just curious!!!

What I was getting at is - where is the televised date schedule? All that tells me is that the race will be televised, not when it will air.

Those air times look like they are off by an hour. 6 eastern would be 5 central and the Motorsports Hour airs at 4 central on Saturdays.

The Presleyland race has been moved to September - and per the ASCS schedule - will not be televised....
I hope my local promoter wises up and schedules a 2 night ASCS show (televised) on 4th of July weekend. For what ASCS is trying to do this year - they need a 4th of July race. Where better to do it than OKC?

Did anyone get to see this race on TV?
We had huge thunderstorms in the Dallas area about that time (destroying dish reception), which I assume some of you saw what happened at that time to the Cowboys' practice field. That is the only coverage we have had in this area since Sat. afternoon. I'm still trying to find out more about the Kentucky Derby. Now that was one (can we say "helluva" on here?) finish. At the "checkered flag" the TV channel switched to coverage of the Cowboys practice field.
I generally rely on hoseheads TV schedule listed on the home page. It's been pretty accurate so far.
