21 sprints tonight. The NTR is based on the new track configuration, not Kinsers record on the shorter track

Suggs gets NTR on newly configured track. Wow Doo Stu Dee,. track lenght and shape still looks the same to me. If thats the case the GLR series would have a had a new track record because of the track reconfiguration. And i dont believe thats happened. Could it be Suggs hit the set up and john had a great track after 2 nights of racing.

11.758 seems like they turned faster times last year. Maybe their saying this years track is different than last years.

Just checked with John Prentice and he said the track is the same size it's been since 2006. They justed moved the walls out, and added dirt to fill in the low spots. Mark Kinser's record of 10.949 was in 2000 on a 1/4 mile track. On their time trials print out from Saturday night it states 0.003 miles but the website still maintains it's a 1/4 mile.

But Evans time was slower than times turned last year, so how can it be a NTR?

???? I know, Evan ran an 11.466 in a heat race April 2008 and Tarlton ran an 11.786 same night in hot laps in the 360 series! Maybe it was a record for Golden State Challenge, who knows.
