Dogwater is the reigning Champ, Jimmy. He and OKCFan12 won their divisions and played each other for the title, with Dog beating up on the Commish in the finale. I took 3rd from Roundy Rounders.
Man, last nite is what this Fantasy stuff is all about. Close racing on the track AND in the stands. Airflow had me by 2 going into the Pro Stock A and we had the same driver in the Champs, so this was it. And I had Hicks against Smith. They were battling it out and Hicks finally gets by Allen to win, while Smith ends up 3rd. TIE!! So the tiebreaker comes down to 1 point- 60-61 goes to Jones. Now THAT's close!! Every point counts, sometimes. Good racing, tho. That's what it's all about.
Let's Go Racin'!!

Yeah. I'm the returning champ... wouldn't know it looking at my current record, though. Ha ha.

Yeah, Dog, it's hard to repeat, huh? Tough start for me, too. Lot of low numbers this week. Rough to lose when putting up a 17, much less a 15. But believe me, those low scores could pay off in a tiebreaker. Ugh!!
Let's Go Racin'!!

sorry I forgot to say Jimmy.
The USA Modifieds are off. So classes racing will be:
Super Sprints Champ Sprints Sport Mods Pro Stocks
and dont forget - the Super Sprints will not be using an inverted points lineup - they will be using the draw/passing point format. Just the Supers

Dogwater - didn't you start out last season 1-2 as well. I think it was at least 1-1.
My ol' man Roundy Rounders provides the perfect example of why to never get down on your record. He stood at 1-8 last season - and then went on a hell of a streak - I dont remember exactly what it was - but I think he finished on something like a 9-1 run or something like that. It was good enough to get into the 3rd place game on Championship Weekend - unfortunately Wescoe scored the win and the podium finish - but there is much suspicion that performance enhancing substances were involved.....

I remember when the races at Enid would get over around midnight. This hour and a half for a full show sucks. To me it seems like as a fan your not getting your money's worth but thats just my opinion.
