I gotta say, the more I watch Joe Wood Jr. race - the more I just think - WOW!
It's interesting to note - that if the schedules all work out a certain perfect way - Joe Wood Jr. could possibly win 3 championships. Super Sprint Championship, Champ Sprint Championship, and ASCS Sooner Region Championship. I don't know if it will all work out to be able to run every race of all 3 - but all 3 cars/teams and ESPECIALLY the driver are proving themselves not just capable, but favorites.
It's freakin fantastic to see the 71 team running up front. Special congrats to long time car owners J.D. and Jannie Porter, Joe Wood Jr. - and THE WILDCARD - Crew Chief James Lenhart.

I am really glad for those guys. After all these years I think they are finally having fun. That is what it is all about. Kinda wierd though, I heard JD tell Big Joe something like" thanks for spawning him". Not quite sure what that means, but congrats anyway.
