Hi, My name is Sherri Sprau, and My boyfriend Jeff Slinkard ( races a sprint car ) have been involved with racing since the day we were born! Since we are so in love with racing, we are in the process of building a wonderful website dedicated to all of the great memories made at the Race Track.
The idea is simple, but grand.
I am gathering stories from Racers, Racers Wives and Family, Pit Crew, Fans, and Spectators alike. All stories and memories will be greatly appreciated and posted to the site. (Stories containing adult content will contain a warning, so feel free to share the best!)
The stories may be short and sweet, or as long as you'd like.
I am looking for memorable experiences, good, bad, funny, or sad, that have stuck with you over the years, along with a picture ( if possible).
Feel free to share your memories about a Favorite Win, a Close Loss, After-Race Shenanigans, Bloopers, and Pranks, or even a Dreaded Crash! Feel free to send more than one!
The objective of this website is to not forget those special moments from the past, as well as the new memories we make each weekend.
After the site launch, which is projected to be June 1st, 2009, visitors of the website will be able to post their own pictures and stories as well.
I am very excited about this new endeavor, and am hoping the site will bring together people from all over the country.

Sounds like a great idea - good luck with your new site. I've got a few I could contribute and some wouldn't need an adult warning.

man what a great idea. i love it! i remember the name. texas area maybe? i may take up too much space on ur site. there's been a lot of strip clubs , lost helmets death wins and even blow up running out of gas haulers in my career. and i havn't even gotten to the fans yet.
heres a short one. i was one the gumout out deal and blew up and broke evry engine and car i had. i took time off built a killer car for the nats. got it done just in time. it was a 1000 lbs with a fresh charlie fisher in it. we went to knoxville pulled a mtchbook in the top 20 in time trials. we were set. we go out in hot laps and drive around the the 15k (the year was 02), and we start running down myers in the 14 car and pop gos the weasel. "she blowed up" as wolfie would say. the msd misfired. we were done. wayne johnson gos and blows his up after he had just crashed at osky, so his week blew too. he cums and get me on sat we drink corona till the sun came up. i did win 75 dollars tho. i invented a game called the beadlock toss with waynes broken parts. i put a radius rod in the ground and me wayne tyler walker shep mark kinser and i think sides(i'm drunk ant this point) go at it! i win of course. then we all signed the beadlock and gave it to my gf's sista at the time who was fascinated with t-dub. she still has it. theres way more to the story, but honestly this is the short story.
great idea. especially for us head injury patients.
leave a good name and a legacy behind. then die ;) and
then cum back to life! now thats living baby! do a
good dead and help your neighbor. dream as if you live
forever and live as if you'll die today. always
remember where you came from. ;)
