Kings Speedway

Saturday night, April, 18th Kings Speedway will run out the West Coast Sprinters, Kings Rebel Sprints, IMCA Mods and Stocks.
The WCS non winged sprinters division is lead by defending track champion, Peter Murphy, Clovis, Ca, ( 100 pts) with Hanford’s own, Justine Hamblin in runner up position with 96 points. Tulare’s Richard and Jace VanderWeerd follow with 91 and 85 points, respectively. Michael Faccinto, of Hanford, Ca is scored in fourth place with 85 points. Rusty Carlisle is fifth with 81 points.
2009 is proving to be a much tighter run for the points in the non winged division than 2008 was. Peter Murphy was seldom challenged last year. This year Murphy has won one race and Jace VanderWeerd won the other. In the Murphy win, brother Richard VanderWeerd was scored second. It appears that the man from down under has his hands full in 2009.
Saturday night is also “Disco” night. So break out your Angel Flights and come join the fun!

Disco night huh? Hmmmm anyone remember Disco night @ Wrigley field a few years back? Might want to bring your hardhats too!

What's with the Kings web site? I just tried to check the web site to see if I could get any info on ticket prices and got "ACCESS FORBIDDEN".

Don't know about the web site. I get it.
On the ticket prices $15 &- military & senior discount.
Jr high & high school $5 with school I.D / 12 & under FREE.
Hope to see a full field of rebels this week it pay $1200 to win I hear.
Non wings have put on GREAT shows this year.
the track has been good 2

Life after Manzy sucks, I would like to see you and Kenny in some nice purple bell bottoms and white ruffled shirts with some gold chains and white shoes. Ya I'll be at Perris whenever I can, I'm thinking about going to Victorville but I'll probably miss you guys at the disco party.

Well, I tried kingsspeedway.net and got "access forbidden" again. I tried kingsspeedway.com and got their site from 2006.

I clicked on it and got a very nice web site. Complete with Sprint Car videos, music, pictures, schedule, and other good stuff. Good job. Makes me want to go there.

Well, I finally got in. The only info they show for ticket prices though is that you can get $3 off if you come dressed disco style.
