Great race!!

Good Kinser/Swindell battle, first time winner, and Schatz spins out all by himself. What more could you ask for.

More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!

The big, flat half miles seem to be better for non-wing cars. Calistoga is the same way as the Wing cars seems to hug the bottom (410 & 360's). The best wing shows I have seen are on 1/4 to 3/8 mile high bank tracks. However, the Feb. races at Volusia Speedway were pretty damn good and I think that is a 1/2 mile.

The Manzy race was average but cool to see Chad Kemenah win in his final race with the #8 team.

I have seen many races at Calistoga and San Jose. Those big tracks had better winged races than they have on the Manzy half mile. Besides the low car count (20) the track prep was the worst. After one session of hot laps the track was junk. The hard charger award was earned by only passing 4 cars and two of them spun out. About four years ago the WoO ran the small track at Manzy and it was a great show.
