Steven Tiner Wins Rebel Main
By Gary Costa
Hanford, Ca. (April 4, 2009) – Steven Tiner scored his first victory of the young season aboard his capable Tiner Motorsports No. 94.
The win came at Kings Speedway's 3/8-mile dirt track in Hanford, Ca. during the Rebel 360 Winged Sprint Car Series.
The likable young shoe who is an employee for "The leaders In Sprint Car Parts Technology" BR Motorsports during the week, couldn't wait to get to the race track and "shake down" his mount.
In preliminary action, Tiner finished 2nd in Heat 1. Steven then went on to win the 25-lap feature.
Tiner is quick to thank those who have helped him make his racing possible.
"It always feels great to win," said the Fresno pilot. "But I want to thank all of my great sponsors. If it wasn't for them, none of this would have been possible. I also want to thank all of the fans that came out to watch us race."

With all the controversy that has swirled around this race track, it amazes me that they can't post results on their own website. I have always given them the benefit of the doubt, but it is becoming tiresome as it seems they can't take care of simple things like posting results for the race fan. Congratulations to Mr. Tiner! I watched the "Rio Linda Rocket" Johnny Tiner (father/uncle) years ago @ West Captial.
