Jeff,  I think it is the points for the night.  They did a pill draw, so no times. Probably did it so you know everyone's West Coast 360/VRA Grand Slam point totals.

Two questions:

Where was the VRA/Bandits Grand Slam defending champion Peter Murphy?

What happend to the Danny Faria car at the end?

Very entertaining show, I had a good time.

Don't know about Murphy. Faria was running the low line and Henry was up high. Kruser was low in 1&2 and mid track 3/4. A yellow with 5 laps to go tightened up the field. Faria had a low left rear and needed heat in the tire. Last lap Henry came off 2 strong and got by for the 2 grand. What a great track, very good prep.

Harryfan,

Not sure about Peter Murphy. I heard he wasn't going to defend the title.

Danny looked like he pushed up or he tried to block Henry on the top, not sure. Dude was too smooth around the bottom for me to think he went up to block. As he came off of 2, he lost momentum and Henry got a big-time run and went under Faria. Henry's' right rear hit Faria's left front and they both finished the lap with broken race cars.

I'm not a Faria fan, but last nights race changed that. Henry all but checked out but Danny used lapped traffic and a timely caution to get the lead and I thought he ran a great race. Props to Danny Faria and Jonathon Henry on an entertaining race.

Ventura was a hell of a show! Anybody know results from Kings? The really hard nosed Bandits were at Ventura, guess the others didn't want to miss the Easter egg hunt.

Nobody at Ventura will forget the names Faria and Henry. Show was over at 9:00

Anybody seen Jason May's name anywhere this year? Or Greg Porte?

There was no wcs-non wing race at Kings 04/04 because of the Grand Slam. Rebel Cup (wing) only. If you go to www.kingsspeedway.net you will see that there was no non wing race sceduled last night. Next wcs race is 04/18. There is a full wcs schedule at scrafan.com in the schedule page.

I was confused. The Kings website has the WCS cars on the schedule for 4-4. Should have known better.

Hi Kenny, FYI it is the Bandit-VRA Grand Slam.  No where is or was the WC involved w/ the GS.

Peter was at Antioch racing a winged 410- refer to Gary Costa's great PR piece. Glad you had a great time. It was a good show with zero problemos. Looking forward to more great things in the future.

They did have it on their posted schedule. They also had cancelled it at some point but didn't publish it. No bashing, just fact.
