17 cars signed into the pits.
Track was heavy, but very rutted in turn 4 and to a lesser extent in turn 1. Track repair was made after the late model feature was completed which actually worked well and allowed for a racy surafce for the Sprint Main.
4 rookies tonight: John Kirby, Jr. in the #51, Jake Haulet (please accept apologies if not spelled correctly) in the #7, Randy Gomes in the #55, and Michael Forsland in the #10.
Bradley Terrell was in the Van Lare #5v as the motor for his #43 was not race ready for the opener.

Terrell from 8th starting flew around 5 cars following Parady and then muscled under Parady low in turns 3 and 4 to make a remarkable 8th to 2nd blitzkrieg by the completion of lap 1. Hard Chargers - Kirk Simpson -16th to 8th, Wright, Jr, from 10th starting to 3rd, and Roberto Kirby -13th to 7th.
It seems to be only a matter of time when Wright, Jr, will win a feature at Petaluma as he continues to improve.
Rookies did a good job in A holding their lines and racing cleanly.
