Tatnell finished 13th. Too bad Ott spun, it would have finished before the rain ended it, but Shaffer had it wrapped up. Great run for the 88, 89, 55, 1z, and a "shout out" to the 89g of David Gravel for winning his heat and running very well in the feature. What is going on with the 30c and 51?

the 89g looked good, happy to see another young racer added to the local field. excellent field of cars last night, we commented among our group that the heat line ups looked more like 10 car FEATURES than fields of yesteryear.
the track was groomed to perfection and the late models were a welcomed change to the show.
not sure how long some of the veterans can afford to run mid pack or worse, but the "passing points" heat format invited some very aggressive moves.
btw: Henderson was interviewed on the mic during the power outtage delay and complimented our local competition above all others. alsothi nk they saidd he is now living in Mercersburg?

Don't know if Shaffer would've had it wrapped up if the caution wouldn't have came out for Ott. The 89 of Darrah was comming fast on the bottom. If there had been a restart Darrah just might have blew by him. Seems like the Gremlins from Fla has followed the 30c and 51 home to Pa. That and Lance is building everything in-house and Fred has no crew chief. It's still early and these two will pick it up.

Caution free I think Shaffer had it, with a restart it would have been GREAT to watch. Just wondering about the 30c and 51 (along with 22, 71, and 39). BUT, I'd never bet against them coming back to the front (did with real cash the 2nd race at Lincoln, and Freddy reminded me why I shouldn't). Just looking for some insight. I agree, if they could have gotten it back going I would have loved to see what Cody could have done, but with the open track lead Shaffer had without the caution, I think he had it, heresay nonetheless(see my sig, huge Rob Cappetta fan). I think some people forget that Shaffer used to take it to everyone, including the other 11(refer to WoO Selinsgrove victory lane pic). This is the stoutest field PA has had in a long time, if the Outlaws weren;t overpriced before, they definitely are NOW. BTW, Stevie Smith is the fastest car in PA(IMO), just hasn't gotten the draw yet, but, dare I say, Darrah is looking like the next big Outlaw threat out of PA since the G-man?
PS - I wish the 5w would come back to PA, get the backing they NEED, and head back out on the road then. I know he's REAL good, just want him to show it.

Mercersburg?
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Mercersburg is correct.....I heard Bruce say that last week and this week when the cars hit the track for warm ups.

I believe that Darrah would've got him in the next two laps under green as he ran him down the back stretch after getting by layton and they were running up on a bunch of lap cars including the 51 was the next one to go down. darrah had a great line coming out of 4 that no one else was running.

Thx for the shout out. Finally had a good run in the 410. In Florida we had our fuel system backwards the whole time and just found it out last weekend at the grove. So hopefully we can be competitive on a weekly basis.

It's refreshing to see a new team here in Pa. Are you going to stick around for the entire season? Are you the guy whos sister won the NSCHOF raffeled sprinter, and gave it to you for an X-mas gift?

I agree Fred wasn't making it easy for Shaffer to lap him, Cody was way faster on the bottom than Shaffer was on the top, and gaining 2 or 3 car lengths every lap. It would've been pretty close the last lap or so. It would be nice to know which one had the faster lap times.
