I'm looking for the physical location of the old Ascot Park. GPS coordinates would be better.

Also looking for old the old El Centro racetrack.

Thanks

JC

Using the same site gets you El Centro. Note that you can still see a ghost of the "old" larger track extending past turn 3/4 to the north

Excellent, thanks for the help.

Looks like the old Ascot site is a parking lot?

The track in El Centro appears to be in somewhat good shape.

Ascot is actually a giant salvage yard. A couple of years ago the salvage yard made National headlines. They were accused of selling cars that were damaged in Katrina without acknowlegment of the damage.

Hey Scott no offence but if someone is buying a car from a salvage yard what do they expect? Would it really matter? LOL

Hey, Matt. Know what you are saying and for most of us on here, we would know what to expect. For many others, that is all they can afford and they know what they are getting everytime they shell out the low bucks. According to the story on the news what they were not being told is the car they were buying had been submerged under water (and of course the sand, silt and dirt that comes with it).
