Saturday night Feb 28, there will be a Fun Race with the Pit Bikes to raise money for Scotty Adams Van Conversion Parts. As most of you know, Scotts specially equipped van was destroyed in a fire last month. He has a replacement van, but it needs a few parts to allow him to drive it.

We will be having a pit bike race at OK Corral Saturday after hot laps. These are the rules.

(1) PIT BIKES ONLY!
(2) RACERS MUST HAVE A TICKET OR PIT PASS
(3) WEAR REQUIRED SAFETY GEAR
(4) ALL PARTICAPANTS MUST SIGN A RELEASE
(5) LEMANS START - IF YOUR PIT BIKE DOES NOT HAVE A KICK STAND YOU WILL NEED A PERSON TO HOLD YOUR BIKE FOR YOU.
(6) RACE DIRECTION: CLOCKWISE
(7) # OF LAPS: ??
(8) ENTRY FEE: A MONATARY DONATION OF YOUR CHOICE
(9) AFTER THE RACE ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REPORT TO THE STARTING LINE FOR A GROUP PHOTO THAT WILL BE FRAMED AND GIVEN TO SCOTT.

Costumes such as guys wearing a womans dress or gals wearing a mans suit or other oddity are encouraged!

Mohican Style Helmets are a plus ! Passengers are allowed !

Black Flag may be used, with little or no discretion !

In the event we do not have enough Pit Bikes, we may also have an open foot race to raise money to help Scott obtain the conversion parts needed for his van.

Shane Carson with the World of Outlaws made the flight along with Scott to pick up his new van in Texas.

"Hello everyone,it has been a month since the first fire at the Adams home, yes I did say first fire, as have now been two.

It all started at 2:49am Friday morning when Vicky and I received a frantic phone call from her brother Scotty "Denny the motorhome is on fire". We jumped out of bed and ran outside just in time to see Orbin rushing out the front door of their home with Scotty in his wheelchair and their motorhome totally engulfed in flames. In a matter of seconds the fire spread to the west end of their home which is Scott's bedroom, it then spread to the stockade fence and on to the neighbors motorhome parked under an awning to their west.

The fire trucks started arriving in what seemed like an eternity, but was actually only a few minutes. By now the entire west end of the Adams home was in flames, fire was now coming out of both roof vents and the home to their west, the Huddleston's, was blazing. Four hours, several fire trucks and fire departments from three cities were there. All of the fires were extinguished and we were looking at the devastation. Things appeared fairly bleak at this time but everyone was ok so we are all thankful for that.

We started to assess the damages and explore our options. The house is probably a total lose as is the motorhome and probably the most devastating Scott's handicap equipped van was gutted by the fire, this was his source of freedom and will be very difficult and expensive to replace.

Now the good news. We live next door and our motorhome suffered only minor damage from the intense heat so they at least had a place to stay and family there for support.

Fast-forward to 2:52am Saturday morning phone rings it's Scott "Denny the Huddleston house is on fire again" We jump out of bed again for the second time in as many days run outside to find not only is that home blazing but it has spread to another home to the north. After seeing how quickly a motorhome goes up in flames Scott did not want to be in a motorhome so close to another house fire, so Orbin and Mary quickly dress him and bring him into our house.

Now it is Sunday morning we all finally got to sleep past 3:00am. Three homes, two motorhomes and Scott's van are all destroyed yet the Adams' family, ourselves included, remain thankful no one was injured. The Bethany fire department rescued many photos and other irreplaceable items.

Thank you all for keeping Orbin Mary and Scott in your prayers. We will keep the flattrack family updated as things progress."

Denny, Vicky, Nicalee and Bret
