Sheridan Seeks Midget Ride; Looks Forward To '09 Season

SANTA MARIA, CA – February 4^th, 2009 – USAC/CRA Non-Wing Sprint Car regular, Danny "Showtime" Sheridan is seeking a Midget ride for the upcoming companion Sprint Car and Midget races at "The Copper on Dirt", February 20-21 at Manzanita Speedway, Las Vegas February 25^th, and Perris Auto Speedway February 28^th.

"I would love to have the opportunity to drive a Midget at any of these races, or Midget races in the future. I don't have a lot of experience driving a Midget, but I have the confidence that I would do pretty well." Sheridan said who has 1 Chili Bowl start.

Santa Maria's favorite son, finished 3^rd in the final 2008 USAC/CRA point standings. "Showtime" picked up 3 wins in the tough West Coast Sprint Car series (3/8, 5/10, 7/4).

In addition to Sheridan's 410 wins, he made the most of his "off time" from the USAC/CRA series, by picking up 2 Bandit 360 Sprint Car wins (5/3, 5/24) bringing his victory total to 5, in 2008 for the Kittle Motorsports No. 18 entry.

"I really can't wait for the season to begin. I have a great team with Kittle Motorsports, and I'm lucky to have such a hard working crew. With the hard times that have fallen on many fans, I'm looking to put a smile back on their faces, by driving hard every night that we hit the track. We're all fired up for the push off of the '09 season."
