The beauty of producing events at a private owned facility is the owners can invest dollars into the venue and do what they want within their budget and codes. City/County/State owned venues are seldom as customised as the private held venues.
Check out the Villas at Motorsport Ranch is nearby Cresson, Texas where they have no state income tax or tax on many other daily purchased items. These Big Buck Villas are super nice for watching races, entertaining guests and prospective sponsors and having great parties. Nearby large garages house raceteams, performance shops, engine builders, chassis dynos and much more.
The convienence store at the entrance of the facility sells VP Racing Fuel in various grades at the drive up pump! Dudes that own muscle cars, Vettes and big V8s are always fueling up there. That is like way too cool!

or maybe i should check my ears, because the last I checked - we couldnt hear the words written on here - only read them. Consequently, some sarcasm can go unnoticed at times. and sometimes it hard to tell between posts that feature sarcasm and those that feature stupidity lol. ok there was some sarcasm. seriously i have heard dumber things than that - i figured it was a joke - so i weighed in either way lol.

how did all that turn into an argument? Drivel? I am done with you? wtf?
I have seen a dirt track on television that allows people to build what looks like deer stands around the corners that are air conditioned/ heated whatever you want to do with it. People hang out in their own stand and party and watch racin and have a good ole time. I think they were sweet. Brill could do something like that.
You know, we should talk better about our sfs. The grandstand really is nice. It is great to have all that room to sit wherever you want, plus it is covered. It's not just some metal bleachers that you see at alot of tracks. I love the State Fair Speedway and everything about it except for the recent changes. But that place is like my church. I went out there last week when it was snow covered and just walked around taking it all in thinking about how I didn't know how much longer it would be there. I think we all have warm fuzzies about that place.

Maybe if you ask Lanny nicely,he might get the city to make those types of upgrades.Be positive.Anyone interested in some beautiful,pristeen swamp land,will part with it and sell cheap.

We went to a track up in South Dakota that was an old horse track. They left the grandstands just like they were for the horses. Half of it was glassed in and the other half was outside. It was pretty cool. Lanny could build some across the top just like the scorers booth and rent them out for the year to companies. I think it would be a pretty neat deal.

ridin fences? thats funny - you insult me for possibly taking the initial post seriously - yet look at the thread, seems i wasnt the only one who commented on the notion.....but thats just a portion of a post that complete ignores several facts. SFS Fan's initial "WTF?" reaction is pretty correct. there wasnt a whole lot of pretext at all for that. I take issue with the "drivel" statement. There has been minimal "drivel" from me over the last 12 months exactly. made sure of it. Anyone who has been on the site for over a year knows that. to varying degrees I am sure, but nevertheless........ it is a point i could prove all day, and at great length if anyone really wants to dispute that. because aside from 2 drawn out disagreements, I can't for shit think of any flak I have been involved in. By all rights, you should have made your statement when it would have made more sense.
But instead you wait till now. WHEN THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO PRETEXT FOR IT. There hasn't been any "drivel" from me for a long long time. and you and I aint had a disagreement. So this chip must have been on your shoulder for a minute. Just unfortunate because at this moment in time, it makes absolutely no sense. Not one part of the crap you rambled - makes any sense at all. Because any other intelligent person on here could see............THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO PRETEXT FOR IT AT ALL. This point just cannot be ignored - in fact, it cannot be highlighted enough. Where is anything in recent history, or in this thread - to warrant that response? where did this go from point A to point B?
Maybe these are questions I should not ask, because at this point they are insignificant. Taking into consideration the utter falsehoods of your insults, and couple that with the FACT that there is absolutely no pretext for any of it - either past or present..............I would think it fairly obvious, that you have a long road ahead of you before you can even climb the steps to my level. I dont partake in baseless and false attacks on people, not to mention completely out of nowhere. disagreeing with an opinion respectively, hell yeah, i love to do that. But I do not.......WITHOUT PRETEXT - take the approach you did. With what you exhibited in that post, I'm very comfortable with the view I have at the moment, lookin down on you.
Whatever problem you have with me, I am reasonably sure it is nothing to do with me on this forum in the last 12 months (especially the last 3-6).....considering the facts. I would know if there was even a shadow of a doubt. but you and I have no past on here. and the vast majority of your false attachment to me, the "drivel" - is buried pretty damn deep in past pages on it. To have a problem with me based off something on this forum, it would have had to be from a long time ago.
