I have a catalog from Edmunds from the 70's and he would sell a bare frame, body, parts and also plans for all his cars even back then. 4 bar sprint plan was $15.00, 4 bar super plan was $14.00 and cross bar rear for sprint or super was $8.50. He also had plans for midget and front engine sports car that would take a Cheetah body. I guess he wasn't worried about copies.
