Six Shooters Sprint Car Racing Association

Welcome!
We're looking for people, Guy's and Gal's interested in creating a new division of Sprint Car Racing. Not only just a new division of SCR, but an affordable one. These are full size Sprint cars that we believe will give you all the thrills of driving and competition you would get from any of the big guys at a much, much lower price. We've all seen the Mini Fours run and they've done well, but in fact, they probably have more invested in them than the new group a few of us are trying to get started. Read on and find out how your need for speed is well within your grasp and you won't be sorry.
This is a new Sprint Car Racing Association featuring V6 Engines for power. A small group of Sprint Car Drivers, Car Owners have come together to keep alive, affordable Sprint Car Racing. There was only one group that had affordable Sprint Car Racing but is no longer in the affordable range.
The group, we're trying to start, have decided on the modern day V6 engine. The V6 engine of today has the HP and Torque in its "Stock" condition that the other group is spending thousands of dollars on, in order to get the 4 Cylinder Engines to achieve! The V6 Engines also can be bought anywhere complete for less than $500. One member has just bought the whole car, a 1999 Ford for $400! This engine runs extremely well, but comes with a lot of factory goodies. To name a couple, factory Fuel Injection or how about Roller Lifters! these are standard equipment items as well as Electronic Ignition. The rules do allow modifications to the engine but in truth, a lot has already been designed in to it by the factory. Many improvements on engine design have taken place since the late '70's and early '80's. This is a NO-BRAINER! Of course you will need a track Cam, but remember you're starting with an engine with the specifications the 4 bangers group just spent thousands to get to! Nothing more is needed other than a full size Sprint Roller! If you're being priced out of the 360's, pull the engine and join us! or even the 4 cylinder group, pull the 4 and drop in a V6, either way, you're going to be more competitive with a lot less money. This allows the owner/builder to invest in more safety devices, suspension changes, maybe gear changes and or make the cars more presentable.
Not only the guys around northern California, but anywhere in the continental USA could and should be starting a V6 Sprint Car association. Maybe after a couple years the V6 Group could maybe jump with the times and grab V6 Engines equipped with OHC's. That's quite a jump, I have to admit, but it shows the enthusiasm that the group doesn't want to be running antique engines 20 years from now

You are right. Too many classes already; 410 wing, 360 wing, ASCS 360 wing (WA & OR), 410 non wing, 360 non wing, 360 ASCS non wing (Manzy), 360 spec motor non wing and this is just on the West Coast. I may of missed a few classes in SoCal.
