Anybody ever messed with any of the open wheel racing sims such as WOO, Saturday Night Speedway etc. Wondering if anyone has ever come up with a setup that most closely resembles real world handling on non winged sprinters or midgets.

I have played Sat,night Speedway also and the WOO,,,,. I was wondering why someone has not put togther a racing league were you could race live agianst each other on line, with the Sat night speedway or the WOO Sprint Cars, both are Rat Bag games . it would be harder than playing against the computer.

You can call the maker of the games and they will give you a code that gives you in there view the best setup to be the fastest. That way you can check to see if your faster or not. A friend of mine has 4 of them linked up side by side. It harder to win beacuse you are agianst a real person and not the computer. Its a Blast. Wouldnt it be great to do that with a field of 24. Everybody would be so fast you have to stay out of troulble. It is different than playing the computer. Has anybody heard of that happening yet,,i think it would go over big......

Win as if you are use to it.And lose as if you enjoyed
it for a change. Its hard to get to the top and alot
harder to stay there.

Forget the sbs sprints. Get the ones here http://www.calrace.com/cms/index.php

And get my tracks here http://www.bozracing.com/V2/ under the rfactor downloads section. Just make sure that you have winrar to unzip them.

Redbandana,

What would you like to know? I have a new email addy. [email protected]

The download for Rfactor sells for around $30 it can be downloaded here: www.rfactor.net

To get the sprint cars I run they can be downloaded here: www.sbsracing.net Also download track pack 1 and 2. Then go to www.bozracing.net and download there tracks. We also run them.

I'm not knocking Powerslaves cars, but there is not many leauges or rooms to race them in.

Let me know if anymore help is needed.

The M&J sprints aren't mine. They are just more realistic in lap times and "feel" than the sbs sprints after you get a setup in them. They can be a little tricky without a good setup but the guys in their forums will definately help you out with some.

I work with Bill over at bozracing. The tracks are mine and his and at this point there is no question which sprints run better on our tracks. Just because something is more popular doesn't make it better. Nascar has more fans than sprint car racing but does that make it better? I think we all know the answer to that one.

The torque curve, weight balance, draft effects and lap times on the sbs are terrible. They fix those issues and it might be worth looking at again. Turning 8 second laps on a 1/3, just as an example, doesn't provide realism. The track modelers are held to a high standard to provide a realistic experience, it's time that the people that build physics are held to the same standard. JMO

So what you are saying is you can use the M&J Sprints or the sbs Sprints all on the same website and race against each other,,like on BOZ Racing .You can use which kind of car you download and run against the other type cars on the same website.

I am new to this and spent 2 hours today downloading tracks on the BOZ Racing.I have not got to the Cars yet so now i am really confussed on which type car to use.

I have drove real Sprint Cars and i would like to get it as real as possilble..So to make it simple it would be like running a J-J frame or a Gambler frame in a real Sprint Car. It would be what type you like to use in real racing . But you would need to know which ones are compatable to that website.

How do i find out all the different types that can be used on the BOZ Racing site.

And what other sites are there that you can race on .

The different cars can't be raced against each other. You can have each in the game but only race one kind at a time. The boz site is simply a league site that hosts the track files. Any dirt car can be ran on the tracks. There are other tracks available at other sites. The ones at boz are just the ones that have been created by me and a gent named Bill Malicoat.

The late models at the sbs site come highly recomended if you're into that kind of racing. Some people prefer the sbs sprints. I prefer to take the training wheels off and run the m&j's. There are also midgets available but they are being updated. I'll let everyone know when they're available.

So if one guy has SBS Sprints and another guy has M&Js Sprints they cant run the same race. So the best thing to do is have both kinds so you can race at more places.

Thats good that would keep everybody equal in the same league. Or the same race,,equal cars anyway.

In these leagues like the Team DDR Server andf BOZ can a person watch the races without racing so they can see how it all works.
