After finishing 5th and 12th during the first two night's at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway, Chico's Jonathan Allard came back on Saturday night and raced to another strong 5th place finish in a stout field at the finale of the $50,000 Sprint Car International which was captured by 20-time Outlaw champ Steve Kinser.
Brad Sweet also drove the SC Motorsports No. 24 to a nice 8th place finish on Saturday.

On that same night the $20,000 Sprint Car International at Western Springs Speedway, which marked the final round of the Thunder Down Under Series, rained out and was rescheduled for Sunday which allowed Allard to fly back to New Zealand at the last minute and take part in the event.
A 25 car field came back on Sunday and Allard proceeded to set fast time to begin the night, before winning his heat race from sixth starting and then finishing runner-up in the dash to Joey Saldana.
Allard beat Saldana to the first set of turns in the main event and held on all the way to pick up his third victory of the New Zealand season.
