Curious because he is running the Woodward #2(at least looks the same) in the WSS instead of the #1 he ran last year. Which he won again so he has the right to run the #1 again this year. He is still running Cool Chassis and Toyota sponsor same as last year just different number. Just seems odd.

Your behind the times as Garry Brazier is now Australia 1.
Brooke drives for Krikke Motorsports when running in Australia. Their normal number (when not the titleholders Australia 1) is WA 2.

Thanks for info. I knew he drove for Krikke, but didn't know there regular number was 2. I thought he won last year so he would be back in the Australia 1.
The 2 on the wings just looked like Woodward's 2, hell almost looks like some of the same wings from this year just different sponsoron them

I read an article where Brooke was quoted saying if nothing turns up soon he will have to get a job.Shame as the guy is talented and had to work hard to build a reputation Stateside.Must be someone over there needs a quality driver/person to run their equipment.

I live a few miles from Brooke's stateside home in Forest Lake, MN, and I'm pretty familiar with the local racing scene. The most popular form of racing here in the upper Midwest is dirt Late Models. To put it in perspective I can think of eight weekly Late Model tracks within about 200 miles of Forest Lake but you have to go five hours to Knoxville or Husets for weekly 410 Sprint tracks. Jimmy Mars, Brady Smith, and Justin Fegers all race out of this area so we've got a lot of talented drivers in that division. Cedar Lake, about a 40 minute drive from Forest Lake, has a $50,000 to win Late Model race called the USA Nationals and a couple other decent paying specials. There are quite a few $5,000 to $10,000 to win Late Model specials closer than any of the big Sprint shows.
Almost all of the local Sprint Cars are driver/owner deals and aren't be funded well enough to travel much. I'm not sure what the latest on the #5 is but if they could come up with some sponsorship Brooke has had some success racing with Guy Forbrook. I haven't talked to any of them since last fall so I hope that I'm wrong and something comes up.
Brooke has the talent, a great racing resume and more connections certainly than I know about. If he lived in PA or OH I don't think there's any question that he would have an easier time finding a deal. Sprint Car racing is a tough way to make a living, especially when based in the upper Midwest, and it ain't getting any easier.

I'm hearing he will be in the Forbrook 5 car next year with some sponser help, not sure the schedule though. I do see that Guy has an ad for a mechanic/truck driver for next year on his website.
Just hear say though so take it for what its worth.....

He seems to be one of the few drivers that clicks with Guy over the last few years, I hope it works.

Spoke to Brooke at Avalon Victoria and he was saying he might not even come and race in Australia. Brooke just rapt up our speedweek series.

So where is Tatnell leading the WSS deal right now...That other "Australia"?
And another what the hell?
What is a Knoxville Banquette?
Banquette, (prounced Ban-kett) Noun, A long narrow upholstered bench style seat. Often seen in like a restaurant. Or-A place for a soldier to stand in/on to fire a weapon. Neither of which I have seen at the track-Are these up in the "Suites" as I am just simple folk putting ass on the metal.
Both of ya kinda set yourself up with some silly posts, just messing' with ya's.
2009 Resolution--I hope I get seats with nobody next to me...
