Last weekend, RMMRA Midget club lost one of their own, Foster Campbell. Foster was a legend Midget Driver and Mechanic. RIP Foster

Denver, CO. (Dec. 23, 2008) - Foster Campbell, Four Times Rocky Mountain Midget Racing Association (RMMRA) Champion has died. Campbell won RMMRA Driving Championships in 1956 through 1959, and was Champion Mechanic a total of 10 times, perhaps best known for his expertise on tuning, and later restoring, Offenhauser engines. He won a total of 24 RMMRA features, plus others with AAA and CARC. Campbell was inducted in the National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame, Colorado Motorsports Hall of Fame and the Belleville High Banks Hall of Fame.
Preceded in death by his wife, Mary, daughter, Shirley Fitzpatrick, and grandson, Brett Fitzpatrick. Father of Bobby Campbell; grandfather of Ryan (Rayleen) and Mandy Fitzpatrick. Beloved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Fred Johnson. Visitation, Wednesday, 12PM- 2PM. Service, Friday, 12:00 Noon, both at Highland Mortuary. Interment, Highland Cemetery.
