With finals over and heading into the break, our high school and more importantly, a family, lost a kid on the way home from tests Thursday. Harsh. A lot of us have kids that drive. Please remind them to be careful in the wintery driving conditions and not to get wreckless. Christmas sucks when you have a bunch of stuff under the tree for someone that isnt gonna be able to open them.

sad news to be sure. i noticed in the article that the driver had just got his license and had a 17 year old pasenger in the car. am i wrong in thinking that these days you have to have your license for a certian amount of time before you can drive with someone other than a licensed driver over 21 or something like that in the car? i am lucky as are prob'ly others on here that i survived my teenaged driving years. we lived in the country and i had wiped out two of my parents vehichles before i was in jr high. my step dad asked me if i thought i was marshall sargent. i said no. he said "you sure crash like him!"

my only breath of relief is when I go out to the garage in the morning for coffee and see all the cars where they are supposed to be and no damage.
