So far for 2009, we have the WOO double header at Chico for the Mini Gold Cup in March. Anyone know if Tulare or Ocean will host the WOO in March as well? I was planning on renting a motorhome at camping for both weekends.
How did Ocean & Tulare do financially for the fall WOO shows? The gandstands & pits were full for both races from my seat.

i would say don't look for a woo show at ocean next year. as far as how they did financially that should be left up them if they want to comment.

A Kings/Tulare weekend before or after the Mini Gold Cup would be perfect. Tulare has a nice camping area. What about Kings?
That's too bad with the Ocean race as like I said, the grandstand & pits were full. At $40 a ticket you would think they turned a profit.

i am not saying i don't think ocean turned a profit with the woo show. i am thinking that with the costs involved and the amount of seating that is available, that for a one day show the profits may not be very extreme. also i think that the race dates that woo was going to offer to ocean were not going to be satisfactory for prentice. i have to go ahead and take this time to give an atta boy to prentice and his crew for continuing to work with the sprint car guys and helping to make the sprint shows improve over the season.

Great camping at Kings, with or without full hookups.
Also tachi Hotel and casino close

I believe the ticket price was $45. The place was greatly improved from my last time there. Nice...except for the two grumpy people in the ticket booth.

I would think that Tulare and Chico would have WoO events, but not sure about other tracks in California! I haven't been to Kings speedway in few years, but haven't heard too many good things about the track lately
I am surprised the WoO is going back to Las Vegas! I went to the races 2 years in a row a few years ago and must admit that the facility is awesome, but the racing isn't that great! It was also soo cold (below 32 degrees at night) there in Feb and March! I am pretty such the track is made of sand instead of clay, which is too bad because if they had a better racing surface like Charlotte, NC the racing would be great!
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

WoO at Hanford? When (dead) pigs fly.
I thought the WoO race at Ocean went exceptionally well and I was hoping Prentice would make it a habit. I think a three day event (The Ocean Cup) would be a nice tradition.
