WHY DON'T THEY RUN MINI STOCKS AT SFS?I THINK THEY WOULD HAVE A GOOD CAR COUNT EVERY NIGHT ,BECAUSE WE HAVE TO DRIVE 100 MILES TO RACE ON A BIG TRACK ,AND SFS IS 2 MILES FROM MY HOUSE.I KNOW ATLEAST 30 PEOPLE WHO WOULD LOVE TO RACE THERE!

NOOOOOOOOOO Way. I don't want to see them little half an engine putters run down there.

Because they are the only ones that usually show up to the meetings. People like this, protect their investment and don't want to loose it. And have the drive to defend. And you know they also race at other race tracks. Remember Friday night practice, Saturday night go win.
That's my Opinion and I'm stick'en to it.

If we ran Hornet's , we could call SFS the Outdoor Hive , which would not be in competition with that Indoor Hive several miles east of the track and we could have 3 big races Hornet Summer Nat. , Hornet Super Nat., and the Hornet Winter Nat. Millions are waiting to be made!

Yeah you are probably right. The main reason Lanny won't ever do it is because he would have to give every person on the fairgrounds a tetanus shot just in case something came off 1 of them and went into the stands. Wouldn't want anyone to get lock jaw.

HAHAHAHA
Ok, I'm not saying anything bad about mini stocks, they are race cars, and any race car is better than no race car. I'm even a fan of the lawn mowers...those things are EXTREME, I mean, you can fly out of the seat! With that being said...Mini stocks are in no way "as fast" or more exciting than sprints, mods, late models, pro stocks, street stocks, etc. The reason why? Horsepower. It's plain and simple.

I for one will rise to defend our Hornets Nest Honor. We'll put the swarm to them bastards. We need to go to I-44 and punk that sissy out of his race track........then we'll have a solid place to run our beloved Hornets. Hell my car already qualifies......I think. Rule 1 however would have to be David Jones starting off in the Super Hornet division.......because his hornet with him in it would be comparable to a flying brick. We don't want any of the youngsters to get hurt now do we? Of course Mr. Jones may not be partial to hornets so thats speculative to say the least. Too bad the land I/my family owns is in western Oklahoma (Sentinel)......none of us cheap would-be hornet drivers would make the haul for that one. Although I'm forgetting I don't have a race track out there. Screw this it's late and i'm exhausted.
Hornet out.
How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a
wouldchuck could chuck would

Oh, I'm all for the hornets. I am like cheese, a racecar is a racecar. They are all expensive. Hell even raced a lawnmower for a couple of years at El Reno. Lot of fun but, just like everything else you start getting guys spending WAY too much for a trophy.

Ok.... can't resist any longer.... ya'll just don't understand. Ministocks are the best kept secret in dirt track racing. Apparently only "fasterthanu" knows how to unleash the infinite amount of horsepower that these agile, cat like machines are capable of producing!!!! Who knows, since they are just as fast, maybe Knoxville will change it to the "MINISTOCK NATIONALS". Can't you just imagine Steve Kinser in a green and silver pinto??????

Man I guess I got under FASTERTHANU73 skin a little , LIGHTEN UP!!!, Never said you were HORNETS, but Hey I've seen HORNET'S put on just as good of a show as the Mini Stocks , there is nothing wrong with the Mini Stocks , use to have a driver that ran my Sprinter who came from the Mini Stocks,Again here we are on the puter getting all moistened and lathered up over ???, Fasterthanu73 , try going to the little fatman and see if you can persuade him to run the Mini Stocks over the Sprint Cars and he just might give you one of those FAMOUS Lanny Speeches that (WE) meaning Cheese 21 , David Jones , OKCFan12 aka CCC, Champsprint50 have seen ,listened to over the radio and witnessed and heard about, I would suggest standing at least 10ft. away from the little fat man as he might just spontaneously combust while telling you his speech.
Well I guess there will be no outdoor Hive for the Summer and with the Hornets moving back to La. no indoor Hive for the Winter, Guess were just HIVELESS!!
