Depends how badly Lonnie wants to win and how much money he is willing to spend...

If true, I look for the 6 to be a top 3 car next year. That car has had a lot of drivers in it (including the DUDE's nephew) that haven't quite been up to expectations. That car has nothing short of excellent equipment and with the DUDE behind the wheel, I will make a bold prediction in saying top three in points if not better. I know a lot of you like to bash Danny, but look at how the 20 car and the 83 (twice) has done since he was gone. If anybody can take that car to the front, the DUDE can.

I am certain that Lost-Cause-Key will win a few nights out of the 2009 season, especially with Parsons' wallet pumping the cash his way. You can say alot of things about ol' Danny but you cant deny he knows how to swindle the big dollars. Dry kindled bridges and money to burn seems like a recipe for fire. Like an arsonist in SoCal on a Santa Ana winds fueled gusty night in the fall, make no mistake Danny will find money to burn and will leave bridges burning. Who wants some side action on when he gets the boot? Anyone........better yet anyone know a hairstylist for the lil elf??
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

I think the real question is how many teams will run fulltime with the WoO next year? If there is not that many I'd say their chances of being in the top 3 will be good.

I knew this post would get a reply from many of the idiots on this board. Thank you for pointing out the fact that you are one of the many cowards who like to hide behind a their computer and point out all of the many rumors as being fact. Just to point out a fact here, how many rides had Wolfgang gone threw in his excellent carreer? What about Sammy? If you read Wolfgang's book, he points this out. He walked away from or was fired from many rides, somtimes even in the middle of a season for one reason or another. Fact is, when owner and driver don't see eye to eye anymore, one of them moves on. It is all part of this wonderful sport we call sprint car racing.

The DUDE is a wheelman and because of that has success in almost every sprint car that he drives. He won't have any trouble winning races in 09.

well I would say there will be alot of changes if Danny come to drive it. That has to be the most well funded team that nobody cares about, always look like crap when they come to the track not going to a car wash and didn't think the inside or outside of trailer was ever cleaned. Tim's results have gone down every year the last couple of years and Paul never got a full chance starting with a new team half way through the year. Danny can still get the job done but so could the other two drivers that were in it. Money doesn't mean everthing if the guy in charge doesn't what to take care of things. Goes bak to the owner if he doesn't care about how his team looks the people working there won't care. JMO

I remember Karl Kinser's stuff always looking dirty and unkept, but that never seemed to make a difference, when the car was sitting in victory lane. I've never heard how the cleanliness of the hauler/racecar can give you that big advantage to win a race?? Maybe all that shiny/slippery Armor All that Schatz uses on their stuff is the secret ingredient that puts them in victory lane so much!! LOL!! Dude will win a few in the 6 though whether its clean or dirty I'm sure.

If Danny is in it, it will be clean and well taken car of. Trust me, I've been to his shop and you could eat off the floor in that place. Not one drop of oil or anything anywhere. .When the cars are being worked on there is a huge rug underneath so if something gets spilled, it doesn't get to the floor and stain it. Spill a soda on the work bench and get the worst death stare you have ever seen until you clean it up, haha. Good times good times. I wish Parsons and the DUDE the best of luck next year! Somebody has to steel some wins from that 15 car.

Read this on Knoxvilles site:
"The future of racing for Lasoski isn’t solid at this point. He knows he will be racing over the winter in Australia for the Carnahnan R19, but as for next season, there are still things in the works. Forbrook is also unsure of plans for next season at this point, but where ever each of the champions race next=2 0season, they will be forces to contend with."
I think I will skip that t-shirt...

When defending someone, its best not to compare them to Sammy.

I'm just glad he's back out on tour. Opens the door for someone else at Knoxville. I think this makes the 6 car a legit top 5 contender in the WoO points chase. I'm no Dude fan, but he's that good of a driver. I think the only thing that will keep him out of the top 5, is if he can't keep his seat bolted in to that car for the whole season. He just can't seem to get along with anyone, and this is one of the few bridges he hasn't burned yet. Good luck to Parsons and Dude, both. I'll drink to Lasoski staying away from Knoxville (weekly) in 2009!

Lasoski can drive the car... no argument there... he's got to be in the team picture/discussion of the best of all time... he's also good with autographs, kids, and was always a good interview (he actual answers questions when you interview him, which I have done)
that said... i don't know if it's "cowardly," but I can't root for a guy that (a) gets on the loud speaker at Eldora and talks about how he hates the place and that he is scared to race there; and (b) tries to wreck his nephew and then fight his father at Knoxville... not sure which one is more assinying... p.s. both of those are facts, I was there...
I wish Earl still did Eldora's track prep.
