from IBRACN.com ALLARD LEAVING ZERO HERO'S? - (11-25-08 @ 8:00 am) - RUMOR - I received an email that states that Jonathan Allard may be leaving the Morry Williams Zero Hero racing team for a WoO team. I'm hearing that he has been tagged as the driver for the Roth Motorsports #83 on the WoO series in 2009. I'm checking with my sources on this one.

I'd stay with Morrie and get after it if 0 was up to going national, but JA is prime for a move up. He's a great kid and a hell of a shoe.

Question is (from the Sills rumor thread), 40 races guanteed and he owns it if he gets fired. LOL.

GT would have the answer, just gotta let him spill the beans.

In my opinion which means squat, Allard should have been at Indy by now. I would love to see him get jiggy with an IRL car at Charlotte!

This would be a big mistake on JA's part. First, Morrie, Katie and Ashley are like family to Jon. Dennis, although a much better person than his reputation might project, can not replace the atmosphere nurtured by Morrie. Second, Jon will be 5-8th place in Outlaw points, Dennis will not be able to live with that and it will be a short summer. Lastly, there seems to be leadership void in the 83 pits, unless Ashley goes with JA nothing will change. JA is good for GSC and vise-versa.

I agree. morrie and katie, ashley too, create a great atmosphere for him as a driver, and mesh very well as a team. i would hate to see him leave the 0 car. i guess time will tell on this one.

How about a two car Morrie Williams-Roth joint team on the 2009 WOO trail with TK and JA. That would be awesome!!!! We need more NorCal drivers on the WOO tour. We all know there are several in this area that have the talent.

No this rumor is not true. Jonathan will be with Morrie and Katie again next season although getting back on the road is something he wants to do very bad. The experiance of running out on the road is so valuable and I think after running with the 0 team over the last four seasons that it has made him very ready to get back out there.

Thanx for the update Gar!! Would love nothing more than to see Jon back on the tour, but, has to be a good/right opportunity, imo. Just don't want to see someone as good as Jon get burned. He has come so far since teaming w/ Morrie & Katie (who I adore as well). And, throw in the fiery Aussie Ashley...... "/

just the thought of having a JA tshirt #83 beefpackers would add to the collection of driver shirts in the 83.
