It says it is northeast modified, but they did run these in north Texas. They even had a couple races where the NE and Texas cars ran together.

That is a Texas modified. Unless they used a NE chassis (very possible) and put a narrow body on. Up close they look like a heavy duty super. The wheelbase is I think 108". There was an effort between these guys and DIRT from the NE to merge and expand but it just never took off.

Bo Rawdon of Cowtown speedway used to be quite a heavy hitter in these years ago.
