Sellers Race Wings congratulates & gives thanks to 2008 customers

Sacramento, California – November 21, 2008…As the 2008 racing season is over with and completed Sacramento, CA based Sellers Race Wings would like to thank all of its customers for a great ’08 season that included over 40 victories within the state of California. “I just want to thank all of my customers this year and I really do appreciate their business,” owner Billy Sellers commented. “We’ve been real busy lately trying to get everything ready for next season and we’re looking forward to it.”
Sellers Race Wings would like to give special congratulations to these drivers and teams on their success in the later season events:
-Brad Sweet and Rod Tiner on their overall victory at the 15th annual Trophy Cup in Tulare. Sweet used an impressive charge from 24th to 3rd to pick up his first career win at the prestigious event and gave car owner Rod Tiner his second win at the Trophy Cup in the last three years.
-Tyler Walker and the NMI Industrial Contractors/SC Motorsports team on picking up back to back wins to open the 15th annual Trophy Cup. Walker used hard, fearless and precision based driving at the 1/3 mile Thunderbowl Raceway to score the ninth and tenth wins of his season.
-Sean Becker and Scott Miller Racing on claiming the 2008 California Sprint Car Civil War Series championship. Becker tallied four series wins on the season en route to becoming the first driver to have captured all three of the big Northern California sprint car titles including a Civil War, Golden State Challenge and Silver Dollar Speedway championship.
-Kyle Larson and Vertullo Racing on finishing runner-up in the California Sprint Car Civil War Series championship standings. Larson won a pair of Civil War races this season and utilized a number of impressive charges from the rear of the field to solidify second place in the series point standings.
