We have one and so far has been fine , there were a few small fit and finish issues when we were putting it together (missing dzus tab for the hood, top wing clamps wont tighten up enough to hold post, torsion stop pad on rr tube was in the wrong place) most easily fixed. Even with these few things the welding on the car was very impressive,I mean it looks like it was done by a robot or something. And the car handles good ,Dad won in it the second night out. I know it cost a helluva lot less than the J&J I have.

I don't know if it was just a bad one or what but I had one and like the first guy said it looked great the welds are as nice as any other. It worked great on a wet fast track but when it would get slick you couldn't keep the thing from spinning out. It didn't matter what you did to it nothing would change it. It would get to the center of the corner really well and just snap loose. I went back to a maxim with just our basic setup and the problem went away.

my driver owns 2 of them....we have used the 07 chassis now for 2 seasons, we will get the 08 chassis out for the 09 season. I have not seen any of the above mentioned issues with either of these 2 cars, we had the 08 car in the mall show and took it apart to run the other car for the race season...after putting it together and checking for squarness or rear and front end it was exactally where I had set it on the car for the show. the car works for us on either dry slick or wet tacky race tracks. we did have a few problems with the front axles the first year bending right at the radius rod pick up points....other than that no problems with the car, would buy another one tomm.

Email or call Triple X - ask them for the names and numbers of 10 users.buyers of theur product, And tell them that you going to be calling them to get their opinions about Triple X.

While they may "seed" the list with positive users, you're likely to get a broad perspective from the many users...And if they won't share a list with you, well, that tells me all that I'd need to know.....

The xXx chassis has been tested and proven on and off the track for a few seasons now. I don't get what the problem is in terms of fearing the quality? I get the "American Made" argument, but those still questioning the quality and reliability should talk to some of the racers here in Ohio that run them. I know a few who swear by them. Then I know others who swear by Maxim or Eagle or JEI, too. Its a matter of preference - not a matter of cheaper parts being junk.

you could not ask for a better bunch of guys than the folks at XXX! Mark is awesome; support is incredible; help foster true entrepreneurialism, buy XXX.

if chuck you-know-who was the last supplier of chassis/parts on planet earth... I'd have the Professor and Gilligan make me a chassis from coconuts and bamboo before I'd run his crap.

never mind the fact that unless you're a king; a wild child... you won't get $hit for support, unless you've got a new innovation he can "borrow".

and therein the problems lies with this great nation's entire auto industry: American made and quality/reliability don't necessarily go hand in hand if we're talking about "the big three".

we're paying card carrying UAW members $50.00; $60.00; $75.00 an hour to mass produce "used" cars. for God's sake, they get what 85% of their hourly rate to sit during a lay-off.

nothing a $25,000,000,000.00 bridge loan can't take care of...

"but where are the cars actually getting built out of.."

Most of the chassis (and parts) we manufacture and sell are made offshore in production facilities owned/operated by us. These are ultra-modern ISO-9001 certified factories. We constantly have industry experts from the US on site overseeing production techniques and quality control. We leverage the advantages afforded by a large production facility and pass those saving onto our customers.

We also manufacture chassis and parts in our shop in Washington state. In this facility we make custom XXX chassis (and parts), perform R&D, etc, etc.

We source a lot of product locally (within the US). It depends on the quality (first) and price/availability (second) that we can get offshore. Many products make more sense to build locally, so that is what we do.

We've never hidden the fact that we produce product offshore (unlike many in the industry) ... instead, we give you, the racer/team, the information and let you make an informed decision.

Ahhhhhh ... the "4Q". Arguably the sweetest ride ever to hit the track.

Ok ... I may be a "little" biased Smile

The Casey's car ran one up in the NW. was in top 10 every night but 1with the WOO. I think they finished 12 at Elma when it laid rubber. But don't quote me on that.

The chassis are made in the communist nation of China, or in other words they are "made offshore".
Cheers!

In the interest of transparency and clearly up nasty rumors, could we see some recent photos of those modern ISO Certified offshore factories? Seems it would help squash any negativity if folks could see under what conditions your sprint car chassis are being made offshore. Thanks in advance.
Cheers!

Henry, not to get off topic, but I watched your movie on Showtime the other night. I thought actor Matt Dillion did an excellent job in your portrayal. Smile Buy American!
