If you were here last night you saw by far the best race of the year. Four cars nose to tail on a dry slick race track dicing through lapped traffic. Walker made an ass out of himself Thursday but last night apologized and put on a hell of a show along with Stewart, Tk, Sweet. There isnt a format that compare's to this one. Congrats on the track prep.

You say he made an ass out of himself?? He won the race TWICE because the track officials had their heads up their butts. He should be pissed and let them know it. Wouldnt you be pissed if you passed the checkered and had to do it again??
Cheers!

I agree by far the best winged race I've seen all year. To bad Randy's car give out on him. Things might have been different at the end. My first time to that track. Nice race track. Didn't they run the Trophy Cup at Kings Speedway a few years back?

Say what you want. Somebody got in his ear thats why he spent the first part of his interview explaining himself and apologising. I did'nt make the rules I just watched the race my friend.

i have a hard time believing anyone got in tylers ear. go here for the story in his own words, go down and look for tylers clip http://www.hoseheadforums.com/forum.cfm?ThreadID=23088 . when the whole field does not race to the flag it always causes problems. the checkerd was out and flying, tyler saw it. then they dropped it because of a bad flip on the back chute. tyler had not crossed the finish line yet. still he saw the flag waving. i don't like split flags, i don't think they should be used. if the whole field doesn't get the lap in when you don't race to the yellow or checkerd because of a wreck, i think you should go back to the last complete lap scored. still you have to realize that tyler had to go through TWO green white checkered restarts with cars breathing down on him. didn't we just have an informal vote that we like when drivers state how they really feel on here not too long ago? he came out and backed up his mouth the next night by winning again. on sat he was doing what we all want from a driver, driving the holy crap out of the thing. too bad he bounced into the wall and flipped just like a lot of others did racing hard.

We're not supposed to reference T-Dub and piss in the same thread Henry...
Not secret...I'm not a huge Tyler Walker fan HOWEVER... he drove the wheels off that rig!

I saw the race and was on the front stretch when it was over no need to read anything. It's an opinion based on what I saw and heard. Best three show's of the year.

Trophy Cup really was the best 3 days of racing I have seen. I loved it. The format was weird but I actually liked it and it really made it possible for anyone to fight back if they had a bad night one of the nights.
Tyler made a complete a$$ of himself and the biggest proof of that IMO is that BK went and bit*hed him out and his car owner right after the race about how disrespectful that was to the fans, officials, and the make-a-wish people. Besides it was video taped and the checkered was never thrown so there is really no basis for any kind of argument that it was a bad or wrong call.

Damn what a 3 day race- I'm a diehard non-wing Ascot/Perris fan for over 30 years, but this race has almost converted me to wing racing almost
Tyler was a poor sport in victory lane, but hey its good for the sport, and he can drive-
Best part being a non-wing fan, Sammny Swindell driving from the rear and finishing 2nd to Randy Hannigan who really should of won the overall except for a $.20 bolt to the barrel valve which he had no control over on friday night, he would of won, cause Tyler had smoke his tires at that point and Hannagan was already in the lead, but anyway, Sammy was doing Victory dounghnuts in the infield on Saturday.
UNFORUNATELY for Sammy, BRAD SWEET, cruised in from DEAD Last to 3rd and won the overall title, now that was "sweet" OH by the way I don't want to hear about how non wing drivers can't take put on the wing and race with the big boys anymore Man Sweet can drive anything can't he!!!!
He's won Belleville, Knoxville, and Tri City in midgets this year for Kasy Kahne and now the Trophy CUp and now he is going for the Oval Nationals this weekend.
But the Trophy Cup has to be the best format and some of the best racing anywhere in the country. Everytime you hit the track counts towards the Trophy. Sammy might have lost the race in qualifying, heat race, scramble, main in Thursday, Friday, but damn he sure drove a great race on Saturday and everyone sure thought he won that damn race. But Brad Sweet should get a chance to race at the highlest levels of racing, he's that sneeky! Just ask Sammy (if he's stopped making excuses why he couldn't get by Hannigan)
And if thought that was great drama, last year at the Oval Nationals, Sammy got in a WWF wresting match with Daron Clayton after his son Kevin dumped Clayton. You got to Luv these 3 day drama fests, I mean racing events!
Did I mention it was shorts weather all weekend at Tulare even during the night, and it should be perfect weather for the Oval Nationals, Cloud cover with 60-70 for a nice tacky track for the non-wingers, so if you don't have plans, come on out to sunny So Cal!

Race the car three races. If you don't like it , for
any reason, return it, without damage, and we'll
refund all your money, build you a new car, or better
yet, bring me someone else's design and I'll use that
to build your next ride!

Here is a video from Thursday night - see for your self if the checkered flag was waving. Overall the excitement - good or bad - added to the great weekend of racing.
