Oh geez. Haven't you got that house built yet?!! (Just kiddin, I don't envy you at all!!) Nice of your grandaughter to let her poor ol' granny use her 'puter. Thanks for the update. Tyler has had some crappy luck recently so it was his turn to get a win! Glad you got my stuff for the Gold Cup, already planning that trip. Are you guys going to Reno for RPM meeting in December.?

Let me start by saying that I have no problem with them going to a 3 day format, and I commend Dave Pusateri for what he has done for the Make a Wish Foundation. That being said, I didn’t think to much of the format for the program last night; qualifying, 6 heat races and a main event. And the way they lined up the main event. I have a scanner and listen to the officials through the night. They were trying to explain the process to one another, and virtually all the responses were, "Huh?" But the thing that got my night off to a disappointing start was this. By the time my son got off work and we drove from Fresno to Tulare, we were walking up to the gate at 6:45 PM. It states right on the ticket, Racing starts at 7 PM. As we are walking up to the gate, we hear what sounds like race results being given out over the PA. I asked the gal that took our tickets if they had started racing already. YES they had. Another track worker that was standing there said that, while the track wanted to wait until the advertised start time, Dave Pusateri had told them to start early. I can understand wanting to get all the racing in before curfew, but you still shouldn’t start before the advertised start time. If memory serves, I believe we were on the highway and headed home, after spending a little time in the pits, by 9:30 PM. I think Dave Pusateri stubbed his toe just a little with that decision.

i personally did not think there was a need for the extra day and that sentiment was reflected a lot by people in the pits and the stands that i talked with. that being said, i really have no complaints. i agree the thurs format for the main was qwerkey, but it was different. i think they should have been better prepared when the drivers were approached on the front stretch as far as supplying them with info as to what was happening. it seemed no organised list was available for the drivers picking the cars to go to the back to refer to. you say dave stubbed his toe when he may have errored on the side of caution to get the show done in a timely fashion. well that is better than having him step on his di_k for not.
