Are you looking for donations or are you offering to buy up somebody's collection?

What do you intend to do with it once you get your hands on it? I know people with vintage collections but they cherish their stuff and don't want to let it out of their sight. People aren't going to just hand over a lifetime of memories without knowing what this is about.

You're probably going to have a hard time talking anybody out of their personal memoribalia but you might find some things at swapmeets and sales.
