Seems taxis have found their way around Knoxville too Duane. There are no sprints only tracks in the U.S. anymore. You have to diversify if your gonna make it as a track these days. Thats why you see 1 class of race cars (sprints) and 4-5 classes of tintops on the same night. Back gate promoting to boost the bottom line.

Other than two or three appearances by the Late Models and one appearance a year by the ARDC Midgets, the Grove is Sprints only on Friday nights.

Knoxville still has a weekly sprint only show so I would say it fits in the sprint only track....Now if they ran a show like most of the other tracks in the area where you see anything from late models to riding mowers I would agree with you.

In addition to sprints, they have dirt modifieds on most of their weekly shows.

Even though Parramatta had a C and sometimes a D main last year for the 410's (averaging about 60 cars) they still ran modifieds or late models or midgets, so they never had a sprint only program.
