I don't know if you all already know, but if not, this was posted by OhioJill on the Nor-Cal board.

For those of you that know Shawn, I'm sure you also know Shawn's step-dad Vic. I received the sad news that Vic passed away, and just wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to Shawn & Arlene. Vic did an amazing job taking care of Shawn, welcoming people into his home, and was an all around wonderful man, and will be sadly missed.
