Pulling my camper up there for the WOO season finale's and staying at the trailer park by the track. Anyone know where the really good eating establishments are, or sports pubs?
Thanks,
Denny

yeah, right up the road is the hooters, about 20 restaurants and a huge mall... hooters was sort of busy last year on saturday, so if you want to watch football maybe get there early... however, most of the fans were Ohio St. fans and they have a bye that week this year...
a lot of places also have maps to the nascar shops... there is a cut-across from right passed (coming from track passed mall it's on your right) the mall that leads over to mooresville that goes right past hendrick, ganassi, roush, and ends almost directly in front of DEI... there's some cool place to eat and wonder around on that too...
I wish Earl still did Eldora's track prep.

As Duane said, there are dozens of restaurants less than 2 miles west of the track at the I-81 interchange with Speedway Blvd(Bruton Smith Parkway).
Here is a link to area eateries. All of the Concord Mills addresses are at the mall (also at the I-81 interchange).
Lowe's Dirt Track area restaurants LINK
If you are interested in NASCAR, the Hendrick, Rousch and Ganassi shops are also very close to the track.

Not a big NASCRAP fan, I tend to root for the driver(s) who came from the dirt tracks ...Blaney, Stewart, Gordon, etc. It would be a cool expierence to go check out one of the shops though. One of these days when I retire from working in education I would like to get involved working for a traveling series like The WOO or All Stars, something like that. Thanks for all of the info, I'm really looking forward to Halloween Weekend in Concord, should be a good time. I'm hooking up with some of my friends that will be coming down to the trailer park from Flemington.

If you are looking for a sportsbar with good food and hott watresses. You need to check out IRON
THUNDER , it's behind the Shell station on the corner Speedway Blvd. & Weddington Rd. It is
just in front of the Harley Davidson Shop. 1 mile for Dirt Track. Tire99guy Concord,N.C.

Iron Thunder is on the SE corner of the Speedway Blvd & I-81 intersection. Just take the road that runs parallel to I-81 and it is in a group of businesses. I thought the food there was just OK.
If you don't smoke, keep in mind there are no smoking restrictions in NC.

Bring your winter cloths along last year it was about 75 and sunny during the day but at night it was freezing, winter coat, hooded sweatshirt, and jeans was the attire for the races
