Dallen McKinney was involved in a terrible crash at Madera Speedway this past weekend. He currently remains in a coma and also broke both of his shoulders in the wreck.
These are the times that we, the racing community need to come together. Please keep Dallen and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Was there and can tell you that it was one of the worst pavement midget wrecks that i have seen. Dallen is a friend of mine and all of us race fans in the Central Valley are praying for a full and complete recovery. Prayers go out to his family at this difficult time as well. The McKinneys' are really good people and it hurts that they have to go through this. Hang in there guys.

Straight off of the Good Times Quarter Midget Website...
Update 10-21-08
Dallen is being weaned off of the medications. He is taking short walks across the hall with the assistance of nurses & his family. He also spends time sitting in a chair in his room. Dallen is still unable to speak due to having the trach. Dallen's will to recover is very strong. It is just a slow process. His family is by his side every day. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts & prayers
