One of the best shows I have ever seen on SpeedTv I just watched. A documentary about a year in a class of racers at Devil Bowl Speedway in Texas. Just a wonderful portrayal of the life at the grass roots of racing. These folks are so real it will bring tears to your eyes, and makes you want to shout out "these are my people".
This show will be repeated on Speed: Sept 26 at 9:00 PM ET, 6:00 PM PT and Sept 27 and 28 at 3:00AM ET and 2:00AM ET also on Sept 30 at 1:00PM ET 10:AM PT.
I hope spmebody records this show and lends me a copy

Sounds good. Will try to remember to watch this Friday and tape the program. Is it about sprint cars? You never mentioned what type of racing but the Devil Bowl features the sprinters, I think. Anyway not a problem.

I highly recommend buying the DVD, for 13 bucks you can't go wrong and you won't regret it.

They have a bunch of deleted scenes that of course you wouldn't see on TV.
Whats funny is, these guys are grass roots racers, not highly funded but have the grit you see every weekend anywhere in the US. Each driver they feature in the movie, you can so easily relate to someone you know at your home track.
Very well put together and deserving of the awards ti has gotten so far.

I agree. Pay for the DVD. It takes a great deal of time, money and effort to produce something this good.
Everything you know is wrong.

It aired last night at 12:00 Great Inside on the whole world of street stocks.... Blood, Sweat, Tears, and oh yeah all empty pockets.... I love When they ban the dude from the track for life.... after he lashed out at that wife of one of the drivers and dropped the "C" Bomb on her....
Everyone is a little Crazy in their own unique way...
