Lets just say it the way it really is;
There is not a person running for office that deserves to be president of this nation!!! Its that simple!!!!
I'M NOT VOTING FOR EITHER ONE!!!
This is a horrible way to protest but we don't have a person worthy and really our votes don't count anyway!!!!!
So save the country alot of money and just let the electoral college cast the votes!!!

Sorry man, really. If I knew that you wouldn't know what a "throwback" was I never would have used that phrase. LOL I think I used that in a general term anyway and didn't direct it directly at you.
I work at the community College here in Prescott AZ and most of the youngsters don't have a clue about what's going on and because most of them don't have a vested interest in any of it yet, so they could care less. It's certainly not how it was back in the Vietnam war era where most of us young people were involved. Yep, I was young once..LOL
Ok, honestly, I'm glad that you are taking a interest in what's going on but please try and go to as many sources of information as possible and try to keep a open mind. Loving and respecting your parents doesn't necessarily mean that you have to vote they way they and your Grandfather did.
How long will it take us to pay back this $$ or will you and your kids ever be able. At least you get something for your $ with the Dems, the Reps just steal it..LOL
HEY!! come to think of it I never directed my reply to anyone in particular. Are you OK, do you have some kind of persecution complex? Again, I'm sorry LOL

1. You used my phrase, so don't act like you were not talking to me.
2. Throwback is actually a word used quite often in my generation and I, myself, use it a lot. I would take my generation over yours any day. At least when our troops get home we cheer for them instead of throwing things at them and throwing death threats their way.
3. It's funny that we have a nice little group on this forum and there have not been any personal attacks until you stepped in and called people ignorant.
4. I guess I might as well quit now, I know nothing about politics because I disagree with you. I heard that CNN is hiring, you should get a job as a political analyst with your experience of working at a 2 year college. Congratulations on your accomplishments and accreditations.
5. The University of Oklahoma is the most liberal place in the state and I have had plenty of hippie professors as so called "sources." And yes they try to play the same lib card saying that the only reason I am conservative is because my parents are. I must just be a brainwashed follower that cannot think for myself, and you must be an enlightened leader. You are a GREAT asset to to this board with all of your knowledge. Please sir, enlighten us more.
PS: I know you are just in this forum to stir crap up. And I really don't care what you think. Usually when I disagree with someone I do so in a manner that does not degrade them, which is what a "grown man" like yourself should do. Here's a little tidbit that might help you thru life. If you respect other people they generally respect you. Maybe you are just too ignorant to understand that.

So let me get this right...
You don't like the Republican party. If anyone is a member of the Republican party they are evil, bad people that will ruin our country? If anyone votes Republican it's because they they are caught up in a vast big business promoted popularity contest? No one can vote Republican just because they have a social and monetary conservative view of the country, it is because Paula Abdul and Simon have endorsed them on American Political Idol?
Dude...
Have you ever thought that a lot of this has nothing to do with the fact that Obama is a minority? If a black man with all of my beliefs ran for President I would vote for him, but one has yet to do that. Palin is qualified for the job just as much as Obama. She has ran a state, she actually made some moves while in office to clean up some spending. What has Obama done in office? Very little. He voted present a view times. I do that at the ORA meetings, that doesn't mean I qualified to run the race track.
Anyway, I'm not going to change your mind and you probably won't change anyone else's on here. I guess my main point on this is please be objective. You're a smart guy, way to smart to get caught up in believing something just because a blogger wrote it. I just think the whole idea that one party is more corrupt than the other is ludacris. I mean the Clintons are Dems for godsakes. Also, the most of the poor people in this country have been voting for the Dems for 20 or more years, and where has that got them? Apparently not too far as they are still poor? 99% of economist agree that wealth distribution is not the way to go (ask Russia).
Signed, a citizen who makes less than $250,000 and still votes conservative, has no common sense, has a negative impact on this country, and should be lynched with the rest of the Republican party.

note - on an individual level i dont hold it against anyone. but yeah the party is evil - not so sure all the people who support it are - in fact they are indeed not - but they still havent even seen through what caused the last 8 years - let alone the spin going on now.
as for palin being as qualified as obama. i dont dispute that. i do dispute her ethics - they are speaking for themselves. as well as her honesty - on the facts alone that too is now in question. she didnt try to lessen spending in her state - she still kept the pork barrel spending for the bridge to nowhere - just didnt use it for the bridge lol. she's caught in a lie right now already - with her comments on climate change. i cant trump decades of service for why i support obama. but i can say i support him on the issues. the main ones anyway. economy, foreign and domestic policy, taxes, health care, especially energy. and ya know the funny thing is - i dont think his plans are fool proof or anything - its just that what the republicans have offered is so outright horrible. they arent even offering anything anymore - they are banking on the celebrity of palin to win now - you know it to be true as much as me. as for liberals banking on the same thing with obama - that will be their mistake. he doesnt need celebrity to win - or color or anything like that. i believe the issues the stances of both candidates speak for themselves. folks are talking about who is qualified as if it is a mystery - as if its hard to tell what will happen when said candidate gets in there - lol - just listen to em - its all right there to hear. the reps have been telling nothing but lies as every campaign stop since their VP selection. again not my opinion - but outright fact. the claims they keep making on several things are PROVEN lies. it seems in this country when the media tells the truth for once - its assumes they are lying. and yet when they are lying - or more often just not printing the truth - everyone is fine and ok with it..........go figure.
as for wealth distribution - I'm not that far left man lol! am not communist. but i do think there needs to be more regulation in everything - but regulation with common sense. and that is a large task/challenge.
and for the signature - i'm not applying that to you or anyone else personally. as i said - i am being very broad. mostly just trying to convey that on the real issues that will affect us the next 4 years - it seems pretty black and white - literally lol.
o yeah - my support for dems or obama has nothing to do with hillary clinton. i liked her position on health care - although even i dont believe you should just give it to everyone. not like that. just the same as i have never really agreed with the dems approach to poverty. you should never just give people money regardless of what they do. i believe you should just present them with opportunities they may otherwise not get. not all the poor people in this country are just lazy trash. opportunity is vanishing - i dont care what fudged #'s one looks at. you cant tell me when everything we buy says "made in china" - that we are just full of opportunity. we are not creating jobs at the pace we are losing them. brandon its funny - you and i would actually agree on a ton of stuff. but prob just disagree on the route to get there lol. seriously lol. just finding 2 different ways to get to the same place lol. but no i dont like hillary clinton. i think bill was a decent president. some things of his i had a prob with - the BJ was not one of them. but no mu support initially wayyyy before the primaries was for her. honestly because i was so against everything the reps had come to stand for - but then i kept listening, and watching. by the texas primaries - i thought it was november and she was a republican lol. her campaign was run like how many reps have done it. mudslingin, whisper campaigns. she was redefining flip floppin. being against nafta while her husband as pres was for it - and while her own campaign manager was down in columbia promoting only days before bush starts trumpin it. that said a lot to me right there. i didnt even need to read the news articles about it. it was obvious. then she outright lied about a lot of things - which oddly enough palin is doing now. there are a lot of women who have looked to clinton or palin with hope - i just feel sorry for em. yeah they are getting their female candidates ----- and they may end up being the last. one was a joke who could never even get her own campaign on the right track - and the other is a rookie neo con nut job who keeps lying. although folks seem to not be caring about the lying so...........guess its a forgivable offense. obviously lying isnt to big a deal ---- just look at the republican symbol King George
for anyone who keeps telling me they are voting for mccain ...... um. ok. i'm not gonna take the bait and attack you personally. the only attacks i'll ever put forth are very broad - like to the masses. i dont have any problem with anyone personally. i thought i explained that the 1st round. but i aint takin that bait. if my BROAD thoughts towards the masses do apply to you ------ well that aint exactly my problem - hint hint lol.

Yeah I did. It wasn't appropriate, but I only changed about 2 sentences. The thought is still the same, just not as harsh.
How are we going to balance the budget...Well it would help if people individually took care of themselves and quit overspending in such states as CA, AZ, NV, and FL. Due to this big mortgage mess we are further in the hole everyday. I will admit that I don't have all of the government spending reports in front of me, but I'm sure I could but a couple billion from both parties pet projects could be thrown out.
My whole point in this is for you to stop personally attacking people just because they don't agree with you. Your like a teenager behind your computer screen. OKCFan truly believes in what he thinks and he's passionate about it, so I like to debate with him in a good manner. You are just the typical left coast douche rocket that thinks he's better than everyone because he has been enlightened with the liberal doctorine.
Nothing better than a little off-week jabbering.

See old man, you could learn from 2 "kids" debating in a respectable manner on here. It is possible to disagree (or not disagree on some things as Cody pointed out) without being harsh.

You have still ducked and ignored your question that I had a answer for smart boy. You asked what had the Dem's ever done for us, meaning you, and I said they balanced the budget for one thing and listed some other things like an illegal war that they hadn't done as well.. Oh, that's right, you were only 13 or 14 years old at that time and it something that you just read about in a book. Trust me, you'll be reading about and living this deficit much longer than the eight years since it was balanced. To bad you aren't as sensitive about the horrendous pain and suffering that the boys you back so blindly have inflicted on the world as you are for yourself. Is that to harsh for you? Tough.
Ron Paul is one Republican that's got most of it right and it's not all about party's. What's it's about is freedom and being a patriot and being a patriot means speaking out against a corrupt Government that's not being held accountable for there illegal and unconstitutional actions.

hey before i post this article from yahoo's main page - ya'll keep stuff simple - if for no other reason so i can continue to take pleasure in sharing some truths with my fellow cool dirt track lovin americans lol.
anyhow - this is what keeps getting ignored - this info is one damn near any major site you get on. yahoo, aol. i imagine its everywhere except the fox news website lol. for all who blasted on obama's celebrity - start blasting away at your own now. get back to the issues - and surely you'll see the good and bad as clear as black and white. its also funny that mccain thinks his change can be verified - it is being verified everyday and has been ---- and its been nothing but flat out PROVEN LIES.
Palin facing new accusations as US campaign grows negative
by Jitendra Joshi 1 hour, 49 minutes ago
CHICAGO (AFP) - Republican vice presidential pick Sarah Palin faced accusations Sunday of handing jobs to friends while serving as Alaska state governor, as the presidential campaign grew increasingly negative.
The New York Times reported that Palin had given the 95,000-dollar-a-year directorship of the state division of agriculture to a high school classmate, Franci Havemeister, who cited her childhood love of cows as a qualification for running the agency.
Havemeister was one of at least five schoolmates Palin hired, often at salaries far exceeding their private sector wages, the paper noted in an investigative report.
"Throughout her political career, she has pursued vendettas, fired officials who crossed her and sometimes blurred the line between government and personal grievance, according to a review of public records and interviews with 60 Republican and Democratic legislators and local officials," The Times wrote.
The paper said that its investigation had shown that in Alaska, Palin was running an administration that "puts a premium on loyalty and secrecy."
According to the findings, the governor and her top aides sometimes use personal e-mail accounts for state business, and dozens of e-mails obtained by The Times showed that her staff members studied whether that could allow them to beat subpoenas seeking public records.
The revelations came a day after the presidential campaign had been dominated by Hurricane Ike.
Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama urged his supporters Saturday to help victims of the monstrous storm while also promising economic relief to hard-pressed Americans suffering "quiet storms" in their own lives.
His Republican White House rival, John McCain, expressed his own sympathy for those upended by Ike, which slammed into Texas packing a massive ocean surge, knocking out power to millions and flooding coastal areas.
But the race also grew more negative, with McCain's spokesman accusing Obama of bad-taste politicking on the day of a natural disaster, and the Obama team alleging McCain was running the "least honorable" US campaign yet.
Obama rolled out a new advertisement, a website and a series of events by officials in 16 states to highlight the presence of former corporate lobbyists at the highest echelons of McCain's campaign team.
Obama's chief strategist David Axelrod said the new offensive was a bid to "challenge the masquerade" of McCain, who Democrats have accused of voting in lock-step with President George W. Bush despite claiming to be an agent of change.
Addressing 7,000 people at a sunny outdoors rally in Manchester, New Hampshire, Obama appealed to his army of more than two million donors to open their wallets and volunteer for relief work as Ike tore into Texas.
"During moments of tragedy the American people come together. We may argue, we may differ but we are all American and one of the principles of this great country is that during times of need, we are all in it together," he said.
The Illinois senator had already appealed to his donors to contribute funds to help victims of Hurricane Gustav, which forced McCain to curtail the first day of the Republican convention on September 1.
In a statement, McCain said he and his wife Cindy offered their "prayers and assistance." Like Obama, McCain said he had been in touch with federal and state leaders to gauge the official response to Ike.
"Their combined determination to address immediate evacuations and relief support was encouraging, but I am increasingly concerned that there may have been a substantial loss of life," he said.
Obama said that even while he kept Ike victims in his prayers, "one of the things I've learned over the last 19 months is that a lot of people are going through their own trials and their own tribulations."
"There are a lot of quiet storms that are taking place throughout America," he said pointing to rising job losses, home seizures and a healthcare crisis.
Obama scrapped a planned appearance on the cult comedy program "Saturday Night Live" and headed from New Hampshire straight to Chicago to monitor the storm.
He had been due to appear in Manchester with his vice presidential nominee, Joseph Biden, but the Delaware senator stayed away.
McCain said in his weekly radio address that he and his running mate Palin would drive through root-and-branch reform of Washington.
He and the Alaska governor, who has revitalized the Republican ticket, "not only promise big change in Washington -- we have records of change to back up our words," McCain said.
"We offer not only change you can believe in, but change you can verify," he said, satirizing Obama's campaign slogan.
The latest national poll from Newsweek had McCain and Obama tied on 46 percent each, with the Republican gaining five points since July.

Man you are a message board pro. I answered your question as to what I would do and now you turn it around again. All I do is get on here to tell you (the supposed grownup) to stop the personal attacks and you change it into what my plan is to fix the country. Wow. What is your plan oh great one?
When the Dems balanced the budget we weren't partaking in the War on Terror and we weren't suffering from one of the biggest bank crisis in the history of the world.
Also you fail to understand that what I am saying that not just 1 party is corrupt as you have explained but all of our government is corrupt. Yes, liberals and conservatives. Repubs and Dems. Alright man I'm done with this, it's time to start building on the motor again. You can go tell all of your message board groupies that you won if you feel like it. The trophies in the mail.

ouch - that stings. why piss in my wheaties? lol. j/k.
but seriously man more power to ya - just like the same now supported bush for 2 terms - crap goes massively wrong - and ya'll sit and scratch your heads on why. obviously you dont mind scratchin your head a lil more for another 4 year set ----- just remember there is a fix to that dandruf problem. putting a democratic administration over a democratic congress.
where most the damage was done here was between 2000 and 2006 when reds controlled all 3 branches of government ----- seeing as how King George has turned the white house into a throne of which to commit domestic and foreign atrocities - having a red pres. over a blue congress wont get anything done. give em a chance. if you dont like what the dems do while presding over legislative and executive branches of government - congressional election will take place in 2010 - go a different route then - at least give something new a try - what the reds did really screwed things up a bad one..... at least try to right the ship.

I, totally agree with Cheese on 99.999% of his post.
Although, I do not agree with discussing Politics or Religion on this site. As this is a RACING FORUM.
But since we are into it, OKC do you even posses a current Voter Registration Card. If you are a non-voter maybe you should limit your post. Since you are ineligible to VOTE, Please post your political views elsewhere.

Maybe your the one that shouldn't vote if you had to read ALL the post's before you figured out it was a political thread. OH!, you did know. Then why did you read it all and then pass judgement if you didn't want to see or discuss politics on this forum? You did all that you know, and it makes you look a bit confused or a hypocrite, you pick..LOL

I original came over to this forum to see a friend from Oklahoma but after meeting a few of you I understand why he prefers to hang out most often on another forum.
Thanks for the thought Eddie, but it's Clever AKA BIGFISH!
