There has been a couple threads trying to figure out Eldora's dates for next year, so here they are...

Eldora Speedway has announced dates for the 2009 Major Events...

June 3 - Prelude to the Dream
June 5/6 - Dirt Late Model Dream
July 17/18 - Kings Royal Weekend
September 11/12 - World 100

King's Royal is back to the 3rd weekend in July... Sadly, I won't make it for the first time...since I was weee-little... damn military commitment... grr...

I wish Earl still did Eldora's track prep.  

Hopefully the allstars use this opportunity to move Ohio speedweek back to the week that it belongs. The rumor is (I'm not saying it's true so the self appointed hoseheads rumor police can feel free to kiss my ass if they don't agree) that Earl used his power to make the allstars move speedweek up a week in june so it wouldn't be so close to the royal. It would be a lot easier on people that wanted to see speedweek shows if it was a week later for obvious reasons.

I do realize that central PA speedweek is that week also but, the participation between the 2 sets of drivers hasn't really been that strong anyways.
