Due to lightning striking a transformer at the track, this Saturday nights weekly racing action at Enid Speedway Park have been cancelled due to no power. OG&E won't be able to get out there and fix it til next Tuesday.

Wow, they replaced one at Will Rogers Raceway during the NMMA Nationals. Claremore Fire Department was dispatched and provided emergency lighting for the restrooms and concorse area surrounding the grand stands. PSO crew worked quick and the power was back on within 30 minutes.
During the State Fair at SFS couple of years ago the big transformer where the pit area is blew due to improper wiring of the Refer units there for food service during the fair. We test fired the lights around 4pm and that is when the problem occured. PSO had to bring a crew out of Weatherford and another town, they got the transformer replaced and back on line with 30 minutes to spare before the sun set.
They must be super busy currently due to the storms nearby.

If they decide to make a pull elsewhere, I would think they'd go to Ada or Meeker... I believe LCS is done until October.

Well last year when they had the Enid Rodeo or some kind of celebration, a bunch of Enid Racers went to Brill, so I expect some to show there, that would be my guess... Besides Greg Burt #66 is and has been running at BMS since the last Big Mod show at Enid...

I expect to see lots of Enid cars at Brill tonight. As was mentioned earlier we've been getting a few Enid cars on and off all year. Greg Burt has run enough races with us to sit 15th in points @ 915. With three races left, he could break into the top ten with finishes like he's been having, not bad considering .
