After what seemed to be 10 years of endless setbacks, badluck, poor economy , herniated disk, 6hr emergency room surgery, every other misfortune I have ever seen--- my son WON! He won with the same determination his Grandpa and Uncle had. I am so thankful for all the fan and friends and fellow racers who talked to him and me and gave congrats. I am so thankful that through all the slow times in Sprint car racing that Cliff Sasker at North Central Speedway as kept us coming there year after year. A special thanks to Ronnie Wuiff , Duane Nelson, Brian and Loren Woodke and My Brother Jim for really getting him to believe in himself . Luck really is where Preperation meets Opportunity He followed up Sunday with a good 4th place run. His best finish before was 5th including the nite a Jackson he beat his Uncle and His Dad 7th and 8th respectfully. You all know us and you all know me and how proud of my drivers I am . It has been a blast helping Sonny and Joseph no matter where they finish This one was a great deal more special because he did what I couldn't ----WIN at BRAINERD!!!

Way to go Joseph!!! I wish I could have been there to see you take the checkered flag and receive that cool trophy, but I was there in spirit! I bet Grandma Ethel wore a hole in a cloud pacing back and forth cheering for you and Grandpa Earl was busting the buttons on his wings! I am so proud and happy for you! WOOHOO for Kouba Racing-the tradition continues! Aunt Judy Kouba Dominick

Are you sure he listened Brian? Maybe he tweaked the setup when Joe wasn't looking. If I remember Joe's driving style I'm sure he set it up so Joseph had to run with two wheels in the infield.

That's fiunny! (BUT there was a time when Big Joe ran the rim or anywhere he needed. that was before his sprint car grew a roof, at North Star, and his early days at Huset's and Park Jefferson)
Great job Joseph! I wish I had been there one night earlier to see it, but everyone says you looked awesome. Jamie and I are way proud!!!!

I want to say congrats to Joseph as well! Good to hear, great job! I must say you're taking leaps and bounds over the last few seasons and looking stronger every time I race with you. Keep it up!
