I have worked the pit booth at Stoga for all of the 08 races thus far and they have NOT excepted Golden State cards all year... so you might want to check on that.. Just wanted to let you know in advance..
see everyone there im getting sooo excited!!!

The Golden State membership was not accepted this year (or last year for that matter) as GS is not a part of the Civil War series. In the past, only track memberships that were involved in the GS series were accepted when they raced at Calistoga. It has always been that way. This year was nothing new!!

FYI,
Civil War does not have a separate membership card. The cards issued by us are for the series and are from either Placerville and Silver Dollar Speedway. The cards are to honored by each track that runs the series. Or at least they are supposed to be honored. Also, Golden State has their own cards.

Uh-oh.. I can see confusion at the pit gate at Calistoga....Civil war cards will be honored, according to the post by Chad based on information from Jeannie Hunt. But Robbie says that there are no Civil War cars. just cards with either Pville or Chico memberships...So it's possible that the person working the pit gate will not honor the "Civil War" card, since it does not say "Civil War".....so while the membership is not at issue, there is a chance that the card might be declined.....
Can we get a sign posted that lists all approved cards?
Just saying......
Chuck.....

chuck thats what i was trying to do is clarify what cards are being honored, since civil war ran calistoga they should be honored in my opinion.
now if thats true then the cards from the other civil war participating tracks should be honored as they should of been at the civil war shows at calistoga, those tracks card are as follows.
placerville
chico
quincy
petaluma
watsonville

Cheese and rice! I thought this topic had to do with available parking. Since we are discussing issues unrelated to the original topic, nice meeting you Moose at Placerville in JTM's pit last weekend.
