If the parking lot at the fairgrounds fills up, additional parking can be found about three blocks away at The Calistoga High School. They have about 50 spaces. From The fairgrounds take either Washington or Fairway back towards downtown and turn Left on Lake Street then continue until you see the High School on your right.
You can also park on many streets on one side only.
The campground is sold out.
Please respect peoples driveways and let's remember that this is a general admission race, so make some room for everybody and let's show the class that traditional race fans have.
Thank You

Anyone with a 2008 Golden State Membership, USAC Membership or BCRA Membership gets into the pits for $30 each night. Non-members will cost $45 per night.
What are the old school USAC rules????

I think PJ must be talking about the old white pants and no shorts rule.
I know when I was at Perris a couple years ago for a USAC CRA show I had shorts on so I don't think the old school rules apply anymore. lol

Please, someone inform Marcel that he can not get in if he insists on wearing his whites. This is a "New School Rule". Also, the Golden State crowd needs to behave themselves and not give those CRA pantie-waist fans a bad time. The "traditionalists" are sure to bring their mascot Al Boner with them and it could get ugly

LOL, that's funny. I think Bonehead is going to ride up to Calistoga with the Preistly team, since he is Hansen's new #1 fan.

This info was given to us by Jeanie Hunt last week. The Golden State Series hasn't run at Calistoga this year, but since USAC/ CRA is a 410 series they would obviously like to have as many Nor Cal 410 teams participate. So Please call Jeanie Hunt at (916) 863-7223 to confirm this info.
Thank You
Chad

well i was thinking if you had a membership card from any sprint car organization it should be accepted since this is a once a year event i would think the track would not want to alienate anyone who has supported sprint car racing by being a member and paying dues with a club.

the way i look at is i would rather honor your card for $30 than have you stay away because i want to not honor it and charge $45 to someone who supports our sport.

Moose
I do agree with you that we should look out for the fellow racer, but I think that it's pretty cool that USAC is honouring the Golden State card considering Calistoga hasn't honoured it at the Civil War shows even though both series are run by the same promoter. I don't think they should honor a card that's not a series card, but only a single track membership card though.
Just my two cents.....they are honouring the three series that should have the most competitors interested in coming.

THIS JUST IN !!! I just spoke to Jeanie Hunt and she said they will also honor Civil War Memberships.
So if you have a current 2008 Membership Card from USAC, Golden State Challenge, Civil War or BCRA then you will get into the pits for $30 each night. YOU MUST HAVE THE CARD WITH YOU AND IT MUST BE A 2008 CARD!!!
I think that's pretty cool and falls into the category of racers supporting racers.
