Werbach Motorsports to have new T-shirts on sale at 48th Johnny Key Classic on Friday

By Gary Thomas

Watsonville, CA – August 25, 2008....We are pleased to announce that brand new Werbach Motorsports T-shirts featuring the No. 20 sprint car driven by Campbell’s Bud Kaeding will available at the rig during this Friday’s 48th running of the Johnny Key Classic in Watsonville.

The event is expected to be an exciting one as the Johnny Key Classic is being held for the second year in a row at the Ocean Speedway. “We are really looking forward to the race on Friday and certainly hope to run up front,” said team owner Tim Werbach. “We’re also excited to have our new T-shirts on sale starting at the Key and definitely want everyone to come down after the races to say hi and pick one up because we think the fans will like them.”

The shirts will be on sale at the rig for $20 and we encourage everyone to stop by and check them out, as well as come down to meet the team following the 48th running of the prestigious Johnny Key Classic. The front gate will open at 4:30pm this Friday with adult tickets costing only $15, kids 6-12 $8 and children 5 & under will be free.

Kaeding currently sits third in the Ocean Speedway point standings, despite missing the previous event on August 15 due to a prior commitment with the USAC Silver Crown Series. On the season the 28 year-old has driven the Werbach Motorsports No. 20 to a pair of victories in the Wright One Construction 360 Series and will look to put the Los Gatos Construction Company sponsored Maxim up front at the Johnny Key Classic on Friday.
