Hello Everyone! My name is Jen Oskerson and I am a teacher at the Prairie City Elementary School in Prairie City, Iowa. This year our school theme is "Race to Success." Throughout the school year, we will be doing several racing related activities and kids will be rewarded for good behavior. As part of this, we are looking for people to possibly donate racing related items that could be used as prizes. If anyone has any racing related items (t-shirts, racing toys, driver picture cards, etc) they could donate, please send me an email at [email protected] and I will let you know how to get it to me.

Thank you to everyone for taking the time to read this and thanks in advance to those who donate!

I think that's a great idea and a way to create future fans for our sport. It would be great if more schools could have programs like it.

You also should have an email from the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame.

See Jen! I told you the sprint car family was comprised of great people that would pitch in and help. These lucky kids that have a teacher like you are going to have a blast this year!

Thanks to all the drivers who made donations on Saturday! What an outpouring of generosity. I didn't get a chance to get to everyone, but I'll check in with the rest next week. PCE is going to be in good shape!

Thanks also to the drivers donating to Hoseheads Radio "Shirts for Shep" cause!

Jen, Ill bring some stuff back from the Chico Gold Cup, and get in touch with you when I get back.

Ill buy some stuff, but if any western team wants to throw a shirt or hat at this deal, I will gladly make sure they get to the OP .

Without kids in the stands at a race, the future is bleak.

Jen, Any relation to Gary Oskerson, #17 modified driver?

Thank you to everyone who has gotten back to me and has already sent donations! Thanks to everyone in Knoxville who is working hard to collect stuff and set up other activities for the kids! I am excited to see how the kids react to the activities! Racing has been a HUGE part of my life since I was a kid, and I hope I can give the kids some of the same experiences I had when I was their age! Racers are truly great people! Thanks to Wayne for giving me the idea to post it on this website! It has been great to see the generosity of the racing family! I'll try to make it to some of your pit areas to say hi and THANK YOU next time I am in Knoxville!

RPMX:

I sure am related to Garry Oskerson...He is my dad. Hence the username Modified17 Smile

Thanks again to everyone!
